When I moved back to Tn I went to my first CNC alone 3 years ago and had a stranger park next to me in his sti by my WRX and we chatted the entire time, discussing his car mainly. We’re now best friends over 1 car meet. I agree with you! Get out and enjoy the meets!

I really needed to hear this. I'm currently in the same sort of situation and have been wanting to get back into the car scene more than I have been recently and haven't gone to a meet because I would be going alone. So I definitely needed this. Keep up the videos man.

Yeah I do get to tripping when it comes to going to meets by myself and told myself I would hit some up this year. Great video and as always right on time with your choice in subjects as well this sort of thing has been on my mind about going to a meet!

Def a little ass going to meets alone everytime but if you just put yourself out there and be social, everyone is usually super nice! 🎉 ask for people’s IG’s and then dm them seeing what meets they are heading to next

I've been doing pretty good most days. Of course I always have my not so good moments but that's part of being human! That sounds awesome! When I was living in Florida I thought about driving an hour and a half down to Miami for a weekend but I was scared to go alone so that's definitely a regret but I'll get there eventually!

Great video ! Never been to car meet or show yet , new to the wrx platform but not new to the subaru product. I do want to go to a “subie fest “ at some point , I also want to do a weekend with dirt fish ( winter and summer ) . The relationship aspect, the comment box isn’t big enough to bring u up to speed lol , but know this , it will happen again at the right time , just be patient. I had people stop to ask about my car “ still stock “ it’s a great feeling totally get that feeling which is awesome. Even the “ peace sign wave from another subie driver is awesome. Makes u feel part of something big . Pay no mind to the ones with a chip on there shoulder . People look up to u weather it’s in person or on line so keep that with u at all times , knowing that u make a difference to someone. . Where in PA are u located at ? Cause when my warranty is up I’ll be knocking cause I’m not gonna work on my car alone with out someone looking over my shoulder to make sure I’m doing it right. Anyways …. Thanks for reading , life is short , and a roller coaster so hang on .. 😊

Thank you! I appreciate that! And the subie fest events are great. I plan on going to boxerfest this year. It should be a blast! And if I can secure a plane ticket down to Florida I plan on hitting subiefest Florida in October also! But thats awesome, good luck with the build and have fun with it! I'm in the York area of PA.

Hey man, not to piggyback of this comment. I'm also from PA more southern central area. Currently have a 13 taurus sho. Have you always wanted a wrx since the 2000s. Love the power of the v6 tt. But test drove a vb love the rawness and manual. Especially for mountain road driving. What's your opinion?

Been trying to find CNC in st pete/tampa but it seems there’s just the massive one once a month. Seems like every other city in fl has good car culture but havnt found much around here

Agree. I also miss out on just little Meets cuz I’m getting older a lot of friends of mine don’t do the whole car thing anymore. Ans I still do. Cuz of this video. I’m going to go to a meet by myself and just try it

It's tough seeing friends step away from the car scene and you're left by yourself. A lot of my friends that were into cars have families now or they got into street bikes etc and I'm scared to death to get a bike. But it's worth a shot! I've had good luck with them. It's definitely hard at first to approach random people and try to talk to them but it's also rewarding!

Man I'm getting old and just now getting into the car life. Been driving a truck most of my adult life and just recently got a wrx and it reignited a spark from my younger years trying to make a 96 civic the fastest thing on the planet lol. I do the same thing, if nobody goes with me I don't go and I'm hurting nobody but myself.

That's another thing I keep psyching myself on is I had to get a cvt wrx cause I have a family with a wife who can't drive stick and that wouldn't be fair to limit her to just one car, especially if there's an emergency and we all know the hate people get if your not "banging gears". Had to compromise, beautiful car but also family reliable. Been learning that your gonna get hate no matter what and I need to be happy with what I got and show it off anyways lol

@@zachhenson1536 No shame in that at all. Everyone has their reasoning for getting an automatic, and they're all valid in my book. It's all situational and preference. I hate when people talk crap on people who buy autos.
