Its so very real :'( I love picto from the cannon but i had the way magic dps play in ffxiv atm and if Picto isnt much differant I no im gunna hate it, Its also coincidentally the first time ive gave bard a proper go and have started to love it. My pain is to real, decisions must be made

As someone who picked up BLM so I could "be used to casting by doing the one everyone says is the worst so Pictomancer will be a cakewalk," I'm a bit peeved that you continue to be correct. The amount of times I've sighed "my leylines" when an AOE spawns is more than I'm actually moved.

@@MythSamael it’s always double melee so hoping double caster will be a thing since black mage and picto cant rez. Groups usually default to summoner and red mage during prog.

"Am I a bard?" Truly my kind of existential crisis as someone who started the game on bard and as of the final tier of endwalker have just become a caster main and am planning on playing picto unless i hate how it feels. Mostly find myself playing RDM and SMN atm though.

It's how I suffer , I love the idea of picto and loved relm in ff6 most of my life BUT I've not really enjoyed any of the magic DPS jobs that much and if they don't do enough to change there core feel . I'm like probably not gunna stick to it , and Bard I hated forever till I stopped expecting it to play like a rythm game and now I'm really enjoying it as its own unique thing

Valid, Bard was my gateway into this mmo from it being a class I always wanted to see somehow in WoW I heard it existed in FFXIV and that I could also be a catgirl (I'm a lala main now oops.) and said Catgirl Bard?? Sign me up! and never looked back. Pictomancer to me I just think paint magic and stuff is cool I never really got into it before as someone who hasn't played FF6 and I'm hoping it will give me an excuse to work on art stuff more. Lala bard goes hard I've played some stuff on stage before or for friends events even if I change and am a caster main now rphys bard especially will always have a special place in my heart.

I feel you dont remeber the days of bard and machinest being ranged casters furing heavenward. That was a time for sure.... God I miss the animations from jobs back then... Not accuracy materia... That can burn... And parry.

@@MythSamael - ...That makes me so happy. So many people refuse to even attempt at taking BLU seriously (including the devs, so that doesn't help) and it gets so tiring. I love BLU and I absolutely hate what FFXIV did with the job, because I'm anti-social as fuck. And even though the job has been advertised as being a "solo job" you are clearly MEANT to play with other people to get all the spells and achievement rewards from it. I'll never get my Morbol mount at this rate...

I dont think you will suffer to much longer, I really dont blue is a victim of itself, I think its a victim of being the first and only limited job. Wth beast masters on the way and confirmation that limited jobs can play together there will be much more people actively doing the content
