Brother designing can't be done in a single 4 wall room. If a person is in any field of design he/she needs to explore the physical world, the graphic designer also needs to travel & visit the outside world to understand the physical world and can apply that in his/her digital work

its just your point of view and also yes I do feel that you have to spend a lot of screentime. but if someone have chosen that path for herself or himself then why would the screentime matter if you want achieve something you have to sacrifice the other. and about respect yes in this world there all types of people who don't respect your work and the others who appreciate your work if someone is not respecting your work this means that its outdated. also, I feel that in India there less scope in graphic designing but you can also earn a lot doing commissions and other things also. "graphic designing is a trend that will never end"
