I planted my first lemon tree this year. I put it in a bigger pot then the store pot, and so far, she's doing well. I'm thinking it'll be about 2 seasons before I start to see lemons. Thank you for your video! Good luck on your channel! 😊

It takes at least 2 years to get fruit, unless you get one that is grafted onto old/mature root stock.

I repotted two of my lemon trees but they digressed because of how hot it is here in California. I’m hoping they make a comeback in the fall and take off in the spring.

It's astounding how much water a lemon tree needs to be at optimal health ..but they are tough nonetheless ...you just get dry fruit

Mine is growing to the side with one long branch and small branches coming in. It looks too weak to keep outside. Do people leave plants outside during day and move in at night. Or will that create more harm?

Thank you for watching and for your comment! 💚 If the temperature in your region is above freezing at night it is safe to move it outside. Our lemon tree was very fragile before we moved it outside and we believe moving it outside gave it some strength. I am not sure about moving it outside and then back inside at night. We have never attempted this.

Thats so exciting that you have fruit from your tree! If there is adequate water (not too much, not too little) then there may be a nutrient deficit and you can give your tree some fertilizer. Epsom salt, coffee grounds, and banana peels are some great “ around the house” options for fertilizer.

If your lemon tree has yellow leaves, or it is not growing properly/slowly you should go to your local hardware shop/nursery and buy either some controlled release citrus fertiliser or some liquid citrus fertiliser with high nitrogen, and use them accordingly to their instructions. Over a few weeks you will see your lemon tree growing bushier and better and the best part is the leaves will go from yellow to green/dark green which means it is very healthy.

How does a lemon tree get pollinated indoors?
@gardenoftreatz
@gardenoftreatz Жыл бұрын
Lemon Trees are self-pollinating meaning they produce both and male and female flowers. Therefore it only only takes 1 tree to get fruit. Some people aid in pollination by using a q-tip to transfer pollen from each of the blooms.

We had the same issue due to the high heat in texas and we went on vacation. We came back and put coffee grounds in all of our plants and thoroughly watered them and they came back really quick!
