That's a really good idea to start with the drums, especially if you use chopped samples, that brings so much groove and flow instantly

I mean with the 808s being tuned to c my GAWD this would save me SO MUCH time. Most of the time it’s not as easy as clicking the original note because they need fine tuning too what a pain in the butt. I might have to swoop this kit up.

Thanks for this. It took me out of my comfort zone a little bit. I did a beat at 110bpm and it bumped so good I wrote a hook for it. This might be a go to for when I get a creative block.
