FIFA 11-13 were the best to me. Fun gameplay and online modes were a game changer. Could choose the real player you wanted to play as in online team play instead of making a stupid pro version of yourself. Still my best online gaming experience.

How they haven't made an online co-op match mode similar to pro clubs except you can use ACTUAL players (Lukaku at ST, Neymar at LW, Modric at CM, Bruno at CAM and the rest AIs for example)instead of having to use a created character baffles me. Something similar to the 2K franchise's All-Star Team Up should have been in the game years ago, and that's just the beginning. Once FUT exploded, EA completely forgot an online football experience exists outside of buying packs, how is there no online champions league mode? or online career mode where people can control multiple teams (Like two players take control of the two manchester teams in the prem, or all three big london teams), or literally any update to online seasons. Idk it's just depressing to see how downhill this franchise went when creative ideas and gameplay took a backseat to microtransactions and making colorful looking cards with 99 pace.

@@joekim8459 the point is to not sim games. ea doesn't want you to sim through your career so they really make the odds in the opponents favor. fifa 22 does have some scripting but it's not nearly as much as in earlier games and almost all of it is the opponents players going into hypermode in the last minutes of a game or after a red card. but if you just play the games like all might ea wants you to man city wont get beat by wigan in the fa cup
