Being from the United States the MLS is starting to be a growing place for talents from South America, with the likes of Barco and others, but I hope the narrative starts to change about being a old man league.

Being in Atlanta I recommend that if you are playing as a bigger club I recommend one player in the low 80s that's in there mid to late 20s. Maybe some one on a bad team that want to show how good they are or just getting older. And everyone else in the 70 and 60 rating. You can pick some young talent from Europe that are in big clubs but to be realistic even as a big mls club you will be getting people that wouldn'tbe gettinga lot of play time. Limit your self to only too three players right from Europe and invest heavily in Mexican and South American talent. A lot of young Latino talent is moving to the bigger mls clubs to us as a stepping stone to Europe. There is a lot you can do not just an old man club any more.

I'm a local Cincinnati guy. I played as FC Cincy and made them win it all (unrealistic I know). They're great if you want a sub par team to build up more. Fun fact, the Hell is Real Derby gets its name from the highway that connects Cincinnati and Columbus known as I-71. Along the highway there's alot of signs that say "He'll is real." I-71 is known for that.

Inter Miami's future stadium plans to seat 25,000. We don't know if they are well supported or not because they play a 40 minute drive north of Miami in their interim stadium for now and they've drawn about 15,000 per game since opening up the full stadium when the covid-19 vaccines became open to everyone. Football as a sport is more popular in Miami than almost everywhere else in the US but that doesn't necessarily mean it translates to MLS. A lot of South American immigrants will only watch their clubs back home or watch Real Madrid or Barcelona...same with the large English ex-Pat population in South Florida. They fill up English pubs every weekend to watch Manchester United and Arsenal but probably don't care much for MLS. You will however see a lot of Inter Miami kits and hats and bumper stickers on cars if you walk around Miami.

3:47 in the MLS there is cap of 3 or 4 of designated players which are essentially players over a certain amount of money (say 10 mil). Players like this are Nani, zlatan, zelerayan) and then there is a cap on how much the clubs can spend per season and/or per player i do believe

I've been playing MLS and I've got to warn you guys, don't go too crazy with free transfers after the first season! Also, try to develop young American players, and distribute un-needed to other MLS teams

I did a MLS Career with La galaxy and Had Ronaldo Vidal, Chellini, and Bonucci as in my MLS Career I prefer signing older players who have had legendary Carrer as they may not preform well but they last due to the flexible schedule of the mls playing 1 or 2 games a week get some youngsters and sell them for a profit.

Those rules are intense, wish fifa tool the time to staying true to the MLS rules, however I still play Rapids and either buy young players with potential, or scout a ton of players and build up.

I rebuilt Orlando Pirates (South African team in Rest of the World) into an MLS quality team for exhibition mode. Disregarded the nationality rule because I wanted too many non-American players on the team. Highest OVR is a 79 Andrés Iniesta. Thinking about importing that team into a Career Mode replacing Orlando City.

I'm from the US and am a subscriber, but almost all of the information in this video is not accurate. Here is a short-ish guide to the actual roster and salary rules for MLS. A lot of it is complicated so I tried to summarize. This comes directly from the Roster Rules and Regulations on MLS' own website (link below)... -- Each team can have no more than 30 players. -- 20 players are considered the Senior Roster and 10 the Supplemental Roster. -- Senior Roster - Salary cap of $4.9 million for all 20 combined. That comes to $94,230 Weekly Wages. -- The salary cap includes acquisition costs (transfer fees and bonuses) not just wages -- No player may earn more than $612,500 per season ($11,778 weekly wage) -- Supplemental Roster does not count towards $4.9 million salary cap. But these are for "fringe" or bench players. Basically the players who don't make the match-day squad. Meaning this isn't where you stash Messi or Ronaldo and not have them count towards the salary cap. These are for your "prospect" or "rotation" players. -- 4 of the Supplemental can be any age and must be paid at least $81,375/year ($1,564/week) -- 4 of the Supplemental must be 24 years old or younger and paid at least $63,547/year ($1,222/week) -- 2 of the Supplemental must be "Homegrown" (Academy) and paid at least $63,547/year ($1,222/week) -- 8 International players max per team. There is more to it than this but that is basically how it works. These are non-US for the American clubs and non-US and non-Canadian for Canadian clubs. -- An "International" player is considered Homegrown and therefore doesn't take one of the 8 International slots if they join the Academy no later than age 15 -- No limit on number of Homegrown players on Senior or Supplemental Rosters -- Up to 3 "Designated Players" can earn more than the max salary above and exceed the $4.9 million cap. However the first $612,500 of their salary and acquisition costs do count towards the cap. Everything above that is exempt. If the player is Age 21-23 only the first $200k counts, and 20 or younger only the first $150,000 counts. -- Also if a team has only two Designated Players (or a third who is 23 or Under) they may sign an additional 3 U22 Initiative players. If the team has all three DP's you only get one U22 Initiative player. These players may not be paid more than the max salary, but their acquisition costs don't count towards the $4.9 million salary cap. -- The MLS Draft is primarily for US-based players who just graduated college, so age 22 or so. So the Academy trick mentioned in the video is not realistic at all. Best to just ignore the Draft on FIFA, as in real life basically nobody selected in the draft ever amounts to anything. -- Lastly, each team is given a total of $3.325 million in two different forms of "Allocation Money." Essentially this is free money from the league to "buy down" player contracts and acquisition costs to league max salary and salary cap requirements. MLS is super weird and super complicated. i can only play MLS for one season because irl the league gets a new expansion team every year. it felt weird for me to go back in FIFA 15 when I was playing in the MLS up to 2022 with the league missing 9 teams. i can play in the MLS career mode again if the league IRL finally establishes a team cap so i don't have to skip multiple releases of fifa year by year
