Definitely. I think the main issue is that she bleached it in it's natural state and didnt use enough in the back. Had she did it on blown out or flat ironed hair the result would've been more even.

Eh different strokes for different folks, but I hope it doesn’t become a trend. It looks patchy, brassy, and she has hot roots. The cut and style is what saves it, but I hope she gets a color correction in the near future.

Exactly! As long as you know what you're doing and have done immense research you're fine. I dont understand why hairdressers tell you not to instead of encourage you to do your research

@@ny8117 because that would hurt their pockets since Diy is a lot cheaper. Coloring hair is a science but it's not rocket science. If everyone who colored/bleached their hair at home did everything in small sections and made sure to not overprocess there wouldn't be as many color corrections or major hair cuts due to breakage needed. People just don't do their research or practice before slapping the checmicals all over their head, then run to the chair when they got splotchy results lol.

Natural Hair Forever it’s patchy, brassy, and she has hot roots. The cut and style saves it, but the color is extremely uneven, especially in the back. You can tell a professional didn’t do it.

Janay, you really made the color look better by your curling and silk pressing. I'm always boggled by people coloring their own hair. You are right that the back portion of hair was a mess. A former hairstylist it's easy to fix the haircolor. I'd just process that middle part where the bad color band is. Just lighten it up to the roots and the ends and then tone the whole color all over for a smooth blend. If amateur stylist knew to what extent that a bad bleach job could do to their hair, they'd not attempt it. Bleach is no joke. Anyway, Janay another success for you. Excellent job!

It’s because the ladies hair is smoothed out so it may “appear” to look ok but this color is going to be a disaster for any stylist to fix. It’s so uneven and lord knows the porosity in the ladies hair is all over the place.

@Katy debasio as a former hairstylist that's music to a hairstylist ears. You're right it's just hair. Katy when I was a stylist ....alot of women would refuse to get that damaged hair cut off. I usually would end up doing what they wanted but would always let the ladies no that there would be absolutely no refunds. Usually they would say that they would just go else where. Definitely a catch 22. I always wanted to try and fix their hair but just couldn't risk my reputation. One bad seed can spoil a whole bunch.
