the movie isn't even accurate! it was a massive volcanic eruption that ended the Permian era. turned almost the entire planet into a desert, raised global temperatures over 10 degrees C and turned the oceans purple with sulpher gas spewing bacteria. not as fun as giant monsters but definitely scarier IMO!

@@AnimeShinigami13 in the comic “Godzilla: Awakening,” Godzilla is struck on the head by the Permian extinction asteroid. It is hypothesized that the volcanoes were triggered by a large meteor. 1/4 of Antarctica is a meteor that dates back to the time period. Even if that is completely false, within the cannon of the films, it was a meteor that did in the Permian period. You didn’t know what the fuck you were talking about, and ironically tried to point out to someone else that they didn’t know what they were talking about. Try again next time

To be fair to Legendary Godzilla, he mostly chills at the bottom of the ocean and minds his own business, and I think most of us would gladly let him do so. But I guarantee the world's governments and the scientific community wouldn't leave well enough alone, would try and study him, and ultimately annoy him... a creature that can't be killed by the most powerful weapons on the planet, annoyed with humanity. It wouldn't go well lol

Even though Kong is a Titan... I'm still gonna lean towards Godzilla being the Alpha of the fight. i just realized that the mutos fighting, altering weather conditions/patterns and the Monarch agency is so similar to pokemons Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres fighting, with Lugia as the peacekeeper and Lawrence III being the poacher or stand-in for Monarch. obviously not every detail is similar, but, its still cool that therr are other striking similarities.

Borg can´t handle kinetic weapons though.. given we mostly have kinetic weapons thats pretty much a horrible missmatch for them... Then there is the fact that Chemical weapons are effective in destroying the biological parts and we have some very nasty stuff on earth like tasty Chlorine trifluoride.And while not tested in any show high energy arc weapons could be usefull as getting shocked by an exploding terminal seems to also kill borg so a Tesla coil could grill them very effective. Also for now we are way to unintersting for them to even come along anyway.

They are not unbeatable. But they are pretty impressive. It all comes down to how many of them there are and where they are. Because if every city gets 10-20 Titans, humanity is screwed. No millitary can fight that many at once (localized to one city), and bombs/nukes/shelling are not an option (since then they would be hitting their own territories). But if Titans are just dropped on an island, they can be carpet bombed or nuked

One thing that I have a problem with is the amount of area titans see as their area and use, there could only be a few of them active at any given time. Otherwise pretty much everything's getting destroyed man made or natural.

The way I see it is we would survive, its said a few times that titans and humans are made to live together. But if godzilla changed his mind we'd die, but that doesn't matter because the series isnt "what if X happened and would we survive it" it's called "would you survive."

True. But yeah, Earth would not survive Titans trying to kill them, but it would co-exist (provided that Alpha is neutral towards humans and hostile towards ones that are not neutral). People would probably worship them as well

The earth has been pretty good at mucking up the landscape on its own, super volcanoes and such. We just live in a green time zone that we should foul up for our own sake. Earth could go molten and not care, as years later, have another relatively green/stable period.

Exactly. Humans tend to over-estimate our own universal significance. If we were to loon at our planet alone and compare it to an apple, ALL of the life on the planet would be within that apple’s very thin skin. Earth just does not care. It can lose all of it’s outer layer (including all life over there) and be OK, until it grows another one. And now, Earth is ridiculously small. Almost insignificant when seen from perspective of space overall. If all of cosmos were to be compared to the Sahara desert, Earth would constitute less than a grain of sand, and life on Earth - practically inexistent.

True. At this point, this is celestial level of power. You don’t fight it. You coexists with it and pray that you won’t die/it will protect you. People can barely survive level 9-10 Earthquakes or other natural disasters, if directly exposed to them. These beings would be no different - forces of nature.

I watched all four movies, and yeah never once did I say "yeah I could survive this" because of a catastrophic event such as these, especially Godzilla and Ghidorah fight in KOTM, I never saw myself ever surviving AT ALL
