I love cats. I’ve been around cats ever since I was a baby when my mom’s cat decided to sleep next to me. Since that time, I’ve had cats all my life. Cats stare for different reasons, some good and others, saying….watch out I’m ready to pounce on something, like … hey I have them in my site..lol, most of the time it will be a mouse or bird, but one I had, named Fluffy, a very young male cat, killed a young rattlesnake that was hidden inside my sleeping bag that was hanging from a clothesline to air out…he became my big hero hunter. Ever since then, I’ve watched their behaviors more closely. If something isn’t right, they will let you know, just like another cat my parents and I had, his name was Felix, a black and white Tuxedo cat. He would always let my mom know there was someone at the door by the way he acted and whenever someone was walking towards the door. My mother couldn’t hear very well, so Felix would let her know when somebody was there at the door or coming to the door and my mom would wait for them there at the door. Felix became my mom’s doorbell. 👍❤️🙏🏼

Eyes ARE the window to the soul and eyes are constant between all mammals. Narrow or small pupils is a sigh of focus OR fear but dilated ones are a sign of relaxing and feeling safe. It's a universal signal that you are feel well with dilated eyes as it's usually a sign of feeling well and relaxed as it enjoys the moment and this? Goes for people too. Thing is? Doesn't take much of any stress such as thinking or just observing something in YOUR tastes is unpleasant to shrink your own pupils and the same goes with animals. Of course eyes should NEVER be taken alone as you try to read the body language as focus in play ALSO shrinks pupils. But sometimes? Your cat CAN show frustration in it's attempt to SHOW affection and then you hit a line you didn't know existed with your cat which is usually? Overstimulation. Even THEY can get too much of a good thing. They WANT your attention but beware of giving them too much as they are on a hair trigger when they get their fill. Sometimes I DON'T give my cat enough attention which leads her to LITERALLY SIT on everything I'm trying to do basically saying I KNOW this is your table but it's MINE NOW or your working on your computer? Your KEYBOARD makes the PERFECT resting spot while the entire time? Just want your attention to play with them. But the MOMENT they get their fill or get over stimulated? Wrap their claws around your arm, START sinking their claws into you and start biting hard enough to say I'm getting serious. Best bet? Wait for them to LET you go as you DON'T try to escape this grip and once released? Put them down and IGNORE them. You can't argue with a cat and they don't give many warnings. But when in doubt? Give them their space even if they are still saying I'm in a playful mood. You definitely DON'T want to encourage a cat to PAINFUL play getting rough. I got to laugh as my dad? Threw our cat out of a third story window when HE got too frisky! They BOTH definitely weren't communicating well on that note. Cat wanted it pound of flesh and dad decided the cat need to learn HOW TO FLY. But I was really young as a kid so I never did figure out WHY he threw the cat out the third story window save? Cat actually settled down after words and I NEVER had a problem with him. He was actually my BEST buddy as a kid. Think Butterscott (the cat) learned you DON'T mess with the alpha, especially after they throw you out the third story window. Honesty? I just surprised the cat came back after words. Mine stare at me when they want something. It can be for food, treats or affection but they always make it apparent. I’m very responsive to what they want so they don’t have to try very hard. If they are curious about what I’m doing, they stare and tilt their heads as they observe. And if I’m doing something new or unexpected they will inevitably come over to investigate. Whatever I’m doing, they must be a part of it. Yes I love my three cats.
