I started doing the fly pre exhaust and the back warm ups a month ago, and it was a game changer - huge chest growth compared to before. These are great tips.

Shoulder blades together, chest high....and also DON'T BE AFRAID TO DROP THE WEIGHT and get the form and your mental muscle connection together, you'll have a better chest in the long run.

I never even thought of using isolation to activate my muscles or the ones that I'm targeting! I have to really try to see if it will benefit me in the future

Every time I work chest I'm ALWAYS feeling it in my shoulders so my shoulders burn out SUPER fast. 😥😞. I've been working out for awhile and barely see any growth in my chest. I'll have to try some of these out. I do find myself doing that forward position and my shoulders and triceps burns out faster.

Dude I had the same problem when I started out. And I did tons of exercises for chest for years. Found out my form on everything was bad but especially for bench. Apparently I was too deep on the stretch and my hand grip was too wide on the bar, so it didn’t stretch my pecs and shifted the stretch onto my delts but, then when I locked out fully it shifted the resistance onto my tris so I didn’t have a good squeeze in my pecs. When I went to a narrower hand grip, stopped at 90 degrees at the stretch point, and didn’t lock out fully on my presses, not only did I feel the stimulation in my chest area but within 4 weeks I noticed a ton of size and shape just from benching. There is one drawback I noticed though, it’s not a biggie but bc the resistance shifted back to my chest during benching my delts and tris needed direct work.

@@stevenstover5994 it sucks man. I be watching tons of vids and since I workout a lone most times I have no one to help me fix my formation.
@stevenstover59943 жыл бұрын
@@Onlyone-m6f I feel you man, there’s a video by a physical therapist/ strength coach named Jeff Cavalier that explains a lot about bench press form. It changed my life, he’s very informative. I’ll try to add a link for you to look at his vid but you can look at his channel for yourself too. Oh yeah, I forgot that with my bench form I had to bring my elbows closer to my sides when I went to a narrower grip. They say a narrower grip works on more Triceps but bc I don’t completely lock out and I keep everything focused on chest it doesn’t stimulate tris as much but I’m sure you can still lock out and stimulate tris and chest, just more focus on tris at full lockout.
