ABBA took our (Sweden's) first Eurovision song contest-win back in 1974 with Waterloo! So most of Europe should know this one!😊

The Swedish group ABBA won Eurovision in 1975 with this song and became big all over the world during the 70s. ABBA is considered the world's biggest band ever, because no other group has continuously attracted new fans, even though they weren't even born when ABBA was big. Then take any artist/group you want and ask them if they know who ABBA is and they will start singing some of ABBA's songs. Hollywood has even made feature films with only ABBA music: Mamma Mia and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again Only famous actors in the movies

My favorite ABBA song is The Winner takes it all, and Tommy has done a great cover of it.

I grew up with ABBA. 🥰 Tommy did it well. 👏 (It is 50 years since ABBA won with Warterloo) Hug from Sweden 🇸🇪 .

Best Sabaton cover I've heard. I'm usually very critical to Sabaton covers because Joakim has such a specific voice, but this was amazing!

Tommy slayed this cover! ABBA is an iconic band and I thought this was one of the songs you just can't upgrade, but I was wrong. Tommy managed to make it sound fresh and new, while still respecting and honoring the original. Yesterday he and Erik Grönwall (singer of Skid Row, another Swede) released a cover of Sabaton's Carolus Rex and it's absolutely epic, please check it out 😃

I bet with a much bigger budget, a top-notch producer that would get the very best takes out of his performances and access to a state of the art high-end maximized recording studio, Tommy would be able to make an album that would rival the best recordings today and would put him on the path of worldwide stardom.

Hi Maria, I just wanted You to know that we have another Tommy video out today - He and Erik Grönwall has FINALLY joined in a two-way collab. The first in out now on Erik's channel. Tommy and Erik joined together to perform Sabaton's "CAROLUS REX": kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n9CRlNKrssqol3k.html Erik is the current singer in Skid Row, which also is his all-time favourite band. He auditioned for Swedish Idol in his youth with "18 and life" acoustic and later won Swedish Idol. He then joined the metal band H.E.A.T and left them when he got an offer to be the new singer in Skid Row. In 2020 he was sick and thought it was Covid-19, but he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and got immediate treatment. In September 2021 he was announced cancer free.
