How do you shade characters without overshading, I need help with that.
@yasserrek96814 жыл бұрын
It depends on the style you're going for , but I'd say go with layers after planning ahead where the light will be , and have like a general idea or image in your head of how it should be shaded, like after you plan everything and have the image make some light shading easy to kinda see through and erase then add another layer to make it darker and tweak as you go.....Ooor you can just use references similar to the pose you want to do that should show you generally where your shading should be , if you couldn't find any with the same lighting make your own reference by taking pics of your self in that pose with the same lighting, not sure if my advice will help but give it a try . Have fun in your art journey.

im taking this opportunity to talk about the "extra" things you need to do to become a successful artist, eat, sleep, shower, talk to people, actually type or talk to people, ESPECIALLY ARTISTS doing these things regularily will get you healthy or healthy enough depending on the coincidence to draw, but positive outlook will be the the biggest thing not the baddest but the biggest thing to getting you up and running and also proficient/better as an artist but lets talk about better! when you get better you draw and your just as good as everybody else regardless of no program or program in your drawing life, real talk, you will have days where you draw proficiantly/better and days where you draw cartooney, i mean really cartooney, even when you get extremely good, so stop sufferering and start loving your process! cartoons are good too!

Look up shonen definition. What you said was rlly dumb and its cus you're obviously not an experienced weaboo
@sp00kym0nster2 жыл бұрын
@@devss4982 hey, why you gotta sound so rude?! Honestly, what they said kinda makes sense to a point, I know what they mean. Taking shojo beat and and shonen jump, for example. Shonen manga, while they do all have their unique styles from each other, they do have things in common. Shonen jump artists (compared to shojo beat artists) tend to (and note, I said -tend to-, not always,) have smaller, sharper eyes- show a lot of muscles and generally have more realistic proportions and anatomy. Where as shojo beat tend to have bigger, glossey eyes with much slimmer, thinner proportions, and round cutsey faces. Maybe don't take what people say too literally. Because by "shonen style" they could have simply meant what I just explained.
