This is amazing! :D but I cannot stress enough to people that are new to face paint and are going to try this look out that you've got to put some base layer on between your skin and the green (especially if it's smiffy's), like a moisturizer or foundation. I swear nothing is worse than trying to remove the green and finding out it's stained your skin.

I think you did a great job with the Smiffys stuff esp considering what they use in the theatre for Wicked is Mac Landscape Green xxx :)

Thanks so much! If you prep the skin with a primer or cleanse the skin prior to application, apply some powder or the same colour eyeshadow over the face paint to set it in place it won't budge for the night :)

I adore Elphaba, I am actually planning on naming my next daughter (if I have another) after her I love the name and the character, plus it will go with my current daughter Elektra lol. . you are beautiful and the make up is perfect its nice to see all because your using facepaint you don't cake it on. very very talented I look forward to seeing your new videos :) x

What's the colour of the paint that you used? Smiffy's sell a lime green and an army green I think

Fantastic! I was wondering, how long did it take you to apply the face paint? I'm playing the Wicked Witch in my ballet companies production of 'The Wizard of Oz' and I really want to paint myself green. Only probably is, I'm also another part and have a limited time to change costume/makeup/shoes... Yea, it's going to be a madhouse backstage :D

Hi, Eimear! You're super welcome! Ya, I hope so, too!I'll be able to get the face paint for sure, since it's just face paint. Thanks for the tip on how to do face paint without having it get all cracked and cake-ey! I hate it when I do face paint then the paint just cracks off.

I actually wouldn't recommend it, it wouldn't come off haha! Snazaroo is my favourite, I just couldn't get it in time for the tutorial :) x

How do you take off the face paint? Does it come off with a makeup remover wipe?

Therena's Life I just use my everyday face wash/cleanser and some warm water :) You could use a wipe either, I just find it comes off more easily when I wash my face!
