I’ve had the privilege of seeing Wicked twice now, once in 2008 in Dallas, and again in 2017 on Broadway. I didn’t remember from seeing it the first time that one of the monkeys took flight above the audience, either bc of time gap between attended performances or bc I was in the rear mezzanine the first time. However, I sat 3rd row from the stage when seeing it last year on Broadway, and was in total awe of the Gorgeous and intricate detailing in the monkey costumes. Then that monkey took flight. It caught me off guard and startled me to the point I felt I almost left a puddle under my seat. I still laugh at myself for being so jumpy, but Oz certainly has a way of leaving a mark on everyone who visits in some capacity.

Jonathan, I applaud whatever you're doing to get that butt.

I would love to be able to play that part. It is just amazing. The wings, the costumes, and the jumping around it is just awesome.
