weekly willis i lost interest in his music when i realized how much he realizes on his facial expressions :s its hard to focus on the song when he sings. The other guy, i think his voice is better, personally. Don't hate.

Master Penquin if you look at most classically trained singers you'll notice that many of them have "ugly singing faces". The reason for this is that they are using the resonace in their faces to get the sound they want rather than straining their voices. This is why you often hear of pop singers having to get surgery on their vocal cords. When you strain your voice, your vocal cords make " nodes" which work in a similar way to calluses in that they protect the flaps from repeated damage. These nodes effectively ruin their registers unless they get them removed.

RedPandaLord No, I have not. I have, however, watched the London Victoria Theathre production of it, and it was quite an experience. (That`s one of the big english theatres, in case you didn`t know.) I want to see it on Broadway some day, but I live in Europe, so that would be hard to do. I will if I`m ever in New York, though.

My voice broke 9 months ago... I now have a bass range. I went from high and a super clear falsetto to a bass range with no falsetto whatsoever. XD I'm SO jealous of Nick.

It's so good! Just wait until you see what songs go with which part. It's fantastic. I didn't see I to broadway, but I did see it twice in a smaller theater, and I loved it! It really is life changing and the messages portrayed in it are so inspiring! Have fun, I'm positive that you will enjoy it!

Adorable and fun!! Peter, Nick, two guys with stunning vocal ranges from bass to soprano and NAILING these songs that are, in the musical, sung by women no less talented than Idina Menzel, as 'Wicked' is apparently about two female college roommates...this is nuts how sweet it is. Life feels more complete with this in it! Costumes, epic voices, must see, must hear!! You will NOT BELIEVE YOUR EARS!!

Countertenor, different range altogether. Chris Colfer from Glee has the same range as well.

Ah. I've never herd of it. I'm a tenor, and that's the highest male range I knew of.

Nick seems to be a baritone with a wicked reinforced falsetto that allows him to do an exceptional countertenor. Peter is a tenor with a baritone extension. Both are very talented and have worked very hard to perfect their voices.
