Overall looks good but the big fail for me is that the wide body kit looks just like that, a bolt on kit vs something that looks factory and actually blends to the body with no visible lines...I'm surprised that WCC would do this and put their name on it...

Yeah the rear wheels were an inch or two too short in width to really fill the arches. The gloss looked cheap.

Agreed. I own a C8. I've seen a lot of good custom work on these cars. Although West Coast does quality work, this car is...fugly.

Remember, guys, the shop went with what the guy wanted. Isn't that what the best businesses do for their custies? Make them happy at the custies pocket cost. His taste his money. This project will hold its value for a long time just for having the shop's famous signature alone and being featured on their show.

Love the truck dually wheels. Sits well under the trex decking you had installed over the fenders. Makes a nice addition to the shopping cart handle you added to the trunk lid. I bet that wobble going over bumps really helps smooth things out for a nice ride. Oh, and them cupped tires probably add 5 horsepower and so much more traction. Good news, though. You can call your insurance and let them know it's totaled.

My biggest question on this custom build would have to be, Why did you leave the stock spoiler on the car and install another GT style spoiler in front of it? Also noticed a bit less care went into this build from the looks of it, this could have come out way better considering its coming from WCC.

I was never crazy about the bolt holes all around these kits. Looks unfinished. IMO, kids started doing this to save the cost of body work and it became a thing, but will always look like a bolt on kit.

I have vertical door hinges on my C7GS and love them. Can still open and close like regular and lift vertically only if you want. I lift them at shows.

Personally for me I would’ve flush mounted the exhaust not have the tips sticking out a few inches.

if flushed with the body it could heat up and burn the wing, the rear tail gate anything thats plastic gone

Rdb deals with high end cars and high end body kits. Wwc used cheap parts and over charge. Big difference

Not sure who the kid is that did this build ,but for a beginner it looks fantastic . I love the fact that it would be very easy to it return to stock . Bolt on pieces has its advantage .

you must have missed the part where they had to cut part of wheel well fender , so returning it to factory is easy as you think.

Excellent job West Coast Customs! The finished product to me reminds me of a street legal Corvette GT3.R which is awesome! This is what I'd have done to a C8 if I had one.

You cannot see the engine with the top down. The upper roof panels stack on top of each other over the engine.

I have my own aesthetic when it comes to custom car designs, and I recognize everyones taste is different, and maybe it was a cost issue; but I like the molded or sculpted wide body look, as opposed to the bolt-on. The Black Panther LC500 comes to mind. But I'm sure he got what he wanted.

All the work an you couldn't give us a decent montage? 5 seconds then a shakey roller . The front lip looks like it has more clearance then my work truck but idk never got to see the bags go up an down because it was a horrible montage...

One thought that hit me - it's 100% true body kits never "just fit" and from that, it's all the more impressive body lines on production cars are as good as they are (for most vehicles at least). For the sheer scale in production difference compared to the normal variances...it's pretty impressive.

Excellent execution of the customer's vision, especially like the back window. For the critics, taste is personal. Overall looks good. I would have asked for the fenders to be integrated but some people like the riveted look, and it likely costs less. Let's hear that exhaust! Quite often left out on videos like this and they play music instead. Anyway, excellent craftsmanship.
