Well the point of tennis is to win, not to be graceful and elegant. Federer seemingly manages to do both, but if he thinks his kids have a better shot at success with a two-hander, then it makes sense to teach them that.

I lost some interest when she retired, but the women's game was very competitive and interesting in the early 2000's. Now, I don't care at all. I do like Osaka though. I never thought I'd love another player after Steffi retired, but then came Rafa! I also enjoy Roger as well. When they retire, I wonder if I will find a new favorite.

I pity you that you dont remember some of the great names who could have easily won good number of slams only if it wasn't for Federer. He literally made players take early retirement. I don't deny the talent n skills of other 2 greatest of all time Nadal n Djokovic (my favs too) but thanks to the age difference of 5 and 6 respectively. Federer at his prime was literally unplayable. No matter what you throw at him, he threw back at the opponents times 10. It wasn't that Marat Safin, Leyton Hewitt, Andy Roddick, Nalbandian, Ferrer, Gasquet, Davydenko, Lopez and many more, were bad. They were one of the best to play tennis, just that Federer was too good to totally sideline them during his peak years.
