*As a Queenslander* Gus is right. When faced with adversity Queensland fell apart instead of digging deep. NSW had more energy, aggression, determination, and enthusiasm. They pulled through us, went round us, or past us. It's like QLD spent their preparation camp singing Kumbaya or something.

why? because he played during an era of a QLD team that had 5 or 6 future immortals in it? Gal was a great captain and player, QLD were just simply too good at the time, i love these couch-analysis from people who probably never even touched a football in their life. He captained the Sharks to one of the biggest upset premiership wins of all time in the NRL era, and captained the blues team that broke the 8 in a row streak of a team that will never be replicated again.

I would pick, 1 Walsh, 2 Holmes, 3 Cobbo, 4 Hammer, 5 Murray 9 Grant, 8 Collins, 10 Christian Walsh, 11 Nanai, 12 Luki, 13 Ruben, 14 Savage, 15 Carrigan, 16 Kaufusi, 17 Fafita, Dropping Ben Hunt because we don't need two 9's, and Harry is the better defender and his ready to take over. Hunt will be my next 7, next year. Savage for speed, and he can cover many positions, plus is a better defender than Khan.

How many times have NSW sports media personalties called QLD certain names only to get their pants pulled down, winning game 2 by a thrashing in that first half means absolutely nothing come game 3. This always ends up biting them on the rear end, Gal called them “the worst QLD team in history” a few years ago and can someone remind me what happened after that. Stop poking the bear, look at the reaction after QLD’s win in game 1 compared to NSW in game 2, QLD know the job ain’t done while NSW act like they’ve already won the series by always getting cocky.

Blues to keep the same team for game 2 especially Moses & Luai. Blues Coach to prepare for David Fifita, AJ. Brimson and Selwyn Cobbo, Kaylyn Pongs and Dane Gagai likely to be selected for Maroons side for game 3. All the best like game 2, aggressive and powerful avoid sin bin and send off. Bring Tom Trobovic and Nathan Cleary as reserves for the decider anything can happen and you still have two powerful players on reserve. Mareta.

Qld didn't have the ball in the first half. 30% possession. Not sure this is an accurate representation of a football game. And before some idiot says "they got the ball a heap in the second half", when you're already down 34-0 its hardly going to matter. No team has ever come back from that score, so psychologically you're basically done (and fatigued from that first half).
