Today I am so excited to do a brand new unboxing of a recently released goth accessories and home décor box! This is the Widow Obsession box (and their debut quarterly box)! This box is for Spring 2024 and retails for $250+ shipping/handling for a one time order, but is $175+ s/h with a subscription. I paid for this box with my own money. All my opinions are entirely my own.

Update: Customer Service refunded me 20% of my order because of the broken candle! Sadly they couldn’t replace it as they were sold out, but the refund was much larger than I expected, so I’m pretty satisfied with how they handled it. :)

I emailed them and unfortunately they are sold out of the boxes and replacement candles, but they refunded me 20% of the box and were super nice and helpful. I also WAS able to glue the candle together and it's burning just fine now! :D

Yes, definitely glue the candle container back together. I do it all the time. Just use superglue.This box was so fun to watch. 😉

my tea cup broke in mine and they gave me a code for 30% off my next Dolls Kill order which was allowed to be used on sale items or combined with any other code. Amazing customer service !! I can't wait for the summer box! The only thing that I don't like is that there's fine print saying you have to commit to a full year of boxes (4 boxes) before you're allowed to cancel... Which sucks bc it's so expensive

So happy you also had such a good customer service experience! They were so helpful when I emailed them. And that's wild that you have to agree to four boxes. I was not aware of that. I used my refund from my broken candle to get the summer box, though. So I'm excited to see what comes in that!

This was a fun and unexpected surprise! Kind of sorry for you that at that price you liked it so much lol! The sales price didn't seem so bad, but full price seems a bit high.

The price is absurd, and I don't think it's worth $250, but I didn't mind the sales price as much. And customer service refunded me 20% because my candle was broken and were super helpful. So it definitely made the price of the box feel fair in the end being almost 40% off after everything.

Thanks for sharing! I love everything in this box! Not sure I could bring myself to spend $250 on it but the sale price isn't too bad. Sorry about the candle! That is always my worry with buying stuff like this online and having it shipped to me

The price is definitely way too high, but luckily they refunded me 20% because of the broken candle. So between the July 4th sale AND the refund, I got about 40% off, which I think is a good price point for this box.

Yeah, $250 is definitely too much. I noticed that on their website now they do a spoiler section for the upcoming box, so at least I'd be able to see if the items are worth paying for next time!

These subscription boxes are a con, a lot of them used to be a way to collect things made by independent artists/makers to send out as a way of helping with getting their name out there and now it seems to just be people buying bulk off Ali express. That’s why the candle was ‘out of stock’ because they couldn’t just buy one individually for you to send out. Not impressed by these companies ripping people off.
