Well, the standard of "Speaks English" now has never been lower. People who speak less English than a tourist in America for a week get hired to do any and every job. It is possible that she was capable enough to lead people through Chinatown to buy souvenirs and food, but does not understand anywhere near enough English to understand formal adult English speech in any meaningful way. In any case, she is a murderer so I hope she gets the maximum sentence.

The reporter called the judge and asked him to comment on his wife killing his nephew. What does she want him to say? She should leave the judge alone. He did nothing wrong. He has lost his nephew and his wife. He has suffered enough.

Funny that they have not shown the victim's photo. The nephew was a new college graduate, that according to a news article was 40 years old. The news has purposefully left that out.

Texas doesn’t have alimony but they will throw yo ass in jail for failure to pay child support! Mommys can work just as well as Daddys!

He was a dear friend , and a great guy. He just finished graduation, all on his own in different states not knowing a soul, then traveling abroad to Europe before his current return to US He was to arrive back home here in Reno NV where is adventurous life all started from. Houston Texas and it's in stable gun owners allowed this to happen. It's sad, I hope she rots in prison. RIP James Your friend Dan Ellis

She went into another room to retrieve the gun, she had time to think about her actions...how is that not first degree murder? Our justice system is rigged...if a regular citizen did that they are 100% going to prison.

1. Did the judge notice any aggressive/inappropriate behavior between the victim and murder before?? 2. The judge has heard and read about many cases of domestic abuse, but didn't read the signs in his own house?! 3. The Judge didn't have time to stop her, going into another room to retrieve a gun that was locked away? The judge is 24 years older than her, and she's in the same age group as the nephew. And there's probably a lot more to this story, but I will wager it won't be introduced because he is a judge!
