THIS WORKED!! Ya know.... as a non-tech person, whenever I have to do these types of things I always think: "This is crazy." It makes me miss the pre-internet days (when this happens). Someday they're going to have a little box or something with a button that says "reconnect internet" or "reconnect Wi-Fi" and you'll just have to push that button. This is all such madness that we're supposed to put in all these geeky entries in all the different little places.... I think the tech ppl like doing all that but the rest of us feel like "this is precious time on Earth I'm never getting back". (And yes I realize that includes writing this comment but want it said). Until then: a huge thank you to the gentleman who put this video together!

Yesterday, I lost internet connection but still connected to the internet for a whole day, thinking it would come back again (as it often happens since I've bought a wifi extender at home. Now I need to WFH and still no wifi signal, tried the 1st and 2nd method then boom its fine now. After doing this step, the DHCP is now enabled in network setting. Thank you so much!

It happens to me now because I've also bought a wifi extender. Wifi works on my phone but not to my laptop. Nothing works on me.

@@jabinreyes4641since installing windows 11 most of the time I have to restart the computer to get the WiFi to work. There is also a WiFi extender installed but I don’t think that is the problem but will try to check that out also

Hey guys .. if all the steps fail .next step isto make sure you dont have any vpn running in the background . For that gobto the task manager ... In processes tab .look out for your vpn program running .right click it to end task .your internet should be working now . Worked for me hope it does for you too .

Guys for those who didn't worked, maybe because your airplane mode is on and the reason why you couldn't get an internet connection tho' it is connected. Try to search if it's on then turn it off.

Thank you. But what worked for me was the Google DNS. After changing it, it did show that internet was available but upon using it (i.e actually using it on sites like google) no results were showing and it was stating to check internet connection. When i went back and reset the dns setting back to how it was i.e. (obtain dns automatically) setting that was initially the original setting, my internet connected back again and was running smoothly. Thank you!

If you downloaded some sort of Adblocker then you could left click in it on network connections and diagnose it and if it says we encountered a problem and it says fix click it and it shuts down and shut backs on your computer back on in 5 minutes

@@AyushJain-fs4pjhi, so I’ve been having this issue and I’ve seemed to fix it. My issue in detail: Every time I shut the pc down, and powered it back on. The internet would either take ages to connect or would not connect at all. Only restarting the pc seemed to fix it but even then. For some reason I could not load any roblox games or host servers on other steam games. So something still wasn’t right. How I fixed the issue: so for those of you who possibly use a vpn or use a 3rd party antivirus app that contains a vpn. For example I have Norton 360 for gamers. I opened it up and it had seemed that the VPN was turned on. Turning the VPN OFF, seemed to have fixed all the issues that I had prior to the internet not working properly. So try turning off any vpns you have on. This may help.
