In this video, I am showing you a mini tutorial on how to construct a wig using needle and thread on a dome cap with bundles and a closure.
Start by clipping and pinning any hair out of the way to avoid sewing, cutting, and tangling the hair! I started with sewing the closure by pulling the closure forward about 1/2 inch. Doing this helps with how the wig will lay on your head. It helps the lace lay in front of your headline and helps avoid the pulling of the wig to sit comfortably on your head.
Since this is some very full Burmese curly hair I started sewing the wefts from ear to ear instead of temple to temple, this way I am able to add more hair on the dome cap. It’s a simple method of looping and pulling the thread under and through the weft. Push the needle under the weft, into the cap, loop it through, and tighten bundles to the weft. As I began to sew closer to the top, I move closer to the temple and front of the cap.
