These websites are getting better too. It used to be so easy to spot out the bad quality sites but now it’s getting harder to tell.

I disagree I love the curly blonde wig It looks beautiful on you.. I would definitely wear it! The second wig doesn't look bad just different.

I’ve purchased my share of bad wigs. Mine came from Amazon. I only purchase less expensive wigs from Amazon & I know up front they can be hit or miss (I have Prime & they can be returned). I never pay more than $25 for one because I know there’s a chance I won’t wear it. I wear the budget wigs around the house & save my more expensive brand name wigs if I’m going out. Thank you for sharing your experiences with bad wigs…even though the 2nd one wasn’t too bad. The color was a bit off but I’ve seen stranger colors on brand name wigs😂😂😂

That second wig looks so much like British Milk Tea at least on the one I have. I have it on Citrus Mint, and it is awful. It is so purple ash and drab that it looks like this exact color here without the white ends. It’s not wearable at all and I see so many women with this beautiful color Wig and I’ve had other people tell me that they tried it too, and they’ve gotten the same thing on a shorter style. I think some of the longer styles have more blonde but yeah, this is what my citrus mint looks like minus the white tips. I even tried to take that Boldify powder and put the white on it and it looked good for the picture but boy it just completely changed the texture and felt horrible so I washed it and it felt even worse. Whatever that Boldify is, ruined the fibers.

I appreciate you telling me about the Boldify powder. I’ll stay away from it so as not to ruin the fiber. I like the Citrus Mint style. I hate that your’s has terrible color. That is so disappointing, especially when we spend so much on wigs. Quality control should be better on name brand wigs.

I made the mistake of buying wigs from Temu, Shein, Amazon, etc. They are usually so bottom heavy and too full looking. There is often way too much hair framing the face and it swallows me whole LOL. Also, the wigs last you maybe 10 wears before they really fall amart and get ratty or smelly

Thanks Julia! Some people who have never warn wigs try these and then get so discouraged. I think that it is a shame. They can get a wig on sale for 45$ at the wig company or Paula Young that is a basic cap pretty wig though. I have bought a few like this in the past. Live and learn. But if you are new, you may not try better wigs if this happens to you!

Good point, Terry Sue. Paula Young sells quality budget friendly wigs. I wore their Cascading Braided Waterfall wig (I may have the name wrong) and the Leia wig. They also have Clearance.

Daphne, I searched Facebook for the seller/business to include the link. I cannot find it. I don’t know if someone reported and it was removed. It was PrettyWiggz. It may have had an “s” or “z” on the end.

I ordered a cheap wig on Amazon (not a name-brand wig) that looked cute. It is very fake looking because of the fibers, it sheds, but would be good for a costume party. The old adage still stands: you get what you pay for.
