so realistcaly it will die quicker with general use like playing a game

Probably. He turned Power Saving Mode off and it lasted 6 hours and 52 minutes just sitting there. I always have Power Saving Mode on, so I suppose that it would last maybe 6.5 hours for me when I'm gaming. 6 hours, 6.5 hours… that's decent. Certainly better than 3-4 hours.

***** Then there's rumble, if you were gaming with a lot of rumble going on that would decrease it even faster. Either way, I ordered one of these bad boys from playasia just now (cause nintendo U.S. no longer sells it) so i'm looking forward to a longer battery life, the default one is abysmal.

steveothehulk After several months of trying it, I'm getting a ton more gameplay time from this extended battery. Very happy with my purchase.

steveothehulk Actually, I started looking for a battery replacement because after playing Splatoon constantly I noticed it dies around 4 hours. This is with battery saving option on though. I'd say for my needs, this replacement is good enough.

+DisturbedKoala I've been able to play for much more then 4 hours on Splatoon and other games with this extended battery.
