Super Mario Galaxy 3 would immediately convince me to get a Wii U, no questions asked.

I prefer a new Mario that represent the wii u, galaxy represent the wii.

I'm tired of all the linear 3D Mario games. A non linear game like 64 or Sunshine would be better.

Wii U has no games that people are willing to pay $300 to play.* That's what people mean. Same story with the Vita. The Wii U also has an expensive tablet controller which apparently no one wants and I don't blame them.

Well then that's a pretty stupid excuse for people to make because the Wii U is well worth the $300 it costs at this point in time. The games the system currently has more than justifies a purchase. Super Mario 3D World is the best Mario platformer in years, Mario Kart 8 is likely the best game in the series, Pikmin 3 is a fantastic revival of the GameCube series and is a wonderful RTS, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is 2D platforming perfection, and there's lots of other little gems, such as Wonderful 101, Lego City Undercover, New Super Mario Bros. U, etc. There's also the upcoming lineup, which includes Hyrule Warriors, Smash Bros. (one of the most anticipated games of 2014, mind you), Bayonetta 2, Captain Toad, Yoshi's Woolly World, Kirby, Splatoon, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and much, much more. The games currently on the system and the games coming out soon more than justify a purchase. And most of the people that complain about the GamePad have never even touched it. The GamePad is actually a pretty fantastic controller - it's extremely comfortable and it holds a lot of potential has been shown in a select few games. Although this E3 promised a stronger focus on the GamePad and the Wii U in general, so it'll be exciting to see where Nintendo takes the controller. Wii U is the system to own right now. The fact that people aren't willing to drop $300 for a system with a fantastic library but are willing to drop $400 for a more powerful system with hardly any games (at the moment) is complete bogus. There was a time when the "Wii U has no games" argument was relevant. It is no longer relevant.

Yoshi's VGM Well said. At first I thought the gamepad would've been too large because of the screen and been awkward to play on. After buying it for WindWaker HD, it was the very opposite, it felt natural to hold and use. Between my Wii U and Xbox One Libraries, the Wii U selection is doubled (not including any wii games or virtualboys) what I have on Xbox. Even after I get the games I want for both systems when they come out, the Wii U library will be larger.

I'm so disappointed in W101. I got it with the free game campaign when bought Mario Kart 8. The game sucks so much. Horrible gameplay, horrible camera, horrible graphics, boring, stupid voice acting, bugs, glitches, invisible walls everywhere. I though it would be as fun as PIKMIN 3 WHICH IS AMAZING AND SHOULD TOTALLY BE IN THE LIST but no W101 is a horrible game. Bad bad bad. Should have chosen Sonic Lost World in the campaign. While it's not the best game ever it's still OK fun I tried the demo.

...Just play 3D World already. I preffer it over 64 and Galaxy 2. That game is a masterpiece and is filled with content. Levels never get repetitive to me for some reason.

weathersponge5000 I like the Wii U more than the switch. At least Wii U has effort put into it. Switch has no ui, eshop, or mii maker music. Switch hardly uses miis in the first place. Almost every game that has miis is because they were a feature from a past console. The only game where mii support dosent come from past games on switch is go vacation. The switch lacks so much personality that past consoles had and that makes everything on it feel generic (especially those free online multiplayer games.) Also, Wii U feels more like a Nintendo console. But the switch feels like a lazy attempt to compete with the PS4 and Xbox one. But the Wii U could’ve done that job if they had DIDNT HAVE AWFUL MARKETING FOR IT.

I am surprisingly hyped for that game. I don't really want to be hyped for it...I mean, I just want to enjoy it as it is. I'm obviously going to buy it anyways - but when I saw it in the video here, I felt a surprisingly large amount of WANT rise up within me. It looks cute and fun, and I'm always on the lookout for new puzzle games that I'll actually enjoy.
