Looking back, the boost rush blocks should've been the main powerup of this game instead of the acorn suit, or at least an alternative powerup.

People say that the NSMB series contains nothing new, but this one is technically an exception. As you all can see,Bowser isn't really kidnapping Peach in this one. He throws Mario and friends all the way to Acorn Plains and they have to go back to the castle to stop Bowser's invasion. So, basically, this one is pretty brand spankin' new to me.

Who else is watching this after watching the trailer for the new (and original) 2d Mario game?

This game was super fun! I liked the idea of Peach's castle being the final world for once.

Man, comparing this to the Super Mario Odyssey Trailer I can see why there's so much more hype for the NX than there was for the Wii U

I love how the Wii U has amazing graphics and I'm glad that the Wii u games don't just depend on it.

Bowser makes a big hand that takes Mario, Luigi, Toads far away. You could play as one player or even 5! You could also play Boost Rush & Challenge Mode. New Super Mario Bros. U with WiiU.

While not a perfect launch title, it's definitely a massive improvement over New Super Mario Bros 2 on the 3DS.

I would like to know how this is a rehash. Yes there were a few reused soundtracks but literally every level and world map design has been changed. The boss fights are interesting. Its more innovative than every cod game. Or alot of other series. It one of the best in the series

Most of my reasoning for my high expectations of the 2D games stems from really enjoying the original New Super Mario Bros. a great deal. It seemed to combine the greatist elements of the classic 2D games while adding alot of the 3D elements (like wall jumping and ground pounding) to make it still a step forward. Sure the story was no Tomba or Klonoa, but it made up for all of it's features. Now when the Wii installment was set to be released, I was extremely hyped for it, expecting it to be a..

Since my childhood, I played a lot on the Wii, when they announced the Wii U it was fascinating, and I always wanted it, all my childhood I wanted the Wii U, I was never able to have it, I was finally able to have the Nintendo Switch in my adolescence, and enjoy this great game which was the one I wanted the most on the Wii U, I went to the shopping centers just to play it on the Wii U for testing, today with great happiness I have a Nintendo Switch since its launch and since New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe came out I have it and I was able to enjoy it after years of loving it, it's me playing as a child. Moral of the story, wait and love Nintendo, the best company in the industry.

I don’t understand how Super Mario can smash blocks with his head but dies when he touches a turtle or a walking muffin.

I feel like these games should be full of amazing effect, visuals and music, since they come out on systems that are capable of it. They should really make it an absolutely amazing experience with game play and visuals. I really love these games though. I played through the one on the Wii tons of times with different combinations of friends and it was always fun. I just want them to blow my mind! :)
