LeBron missed a MASSIVE chance at winning another title in LA. He could've taken a 20mil pay cut and allowed them to bring in another big piece or 2 to make them contenders again, but in taking the max deal, he's basically relegating them to just making it back to the playoffs and then getting swept again by a number of much better teams in the west. Cool to see him play with his son, but if he manages to win another title with this current Lakers squad, it'd be his most difficult and therefore most impressive title win ever. That said, if somehow they can actually pull it off, this would be a HUGE step up in terms of the GOAT debate.
