We made our way from Ullapool to Lochinver seeing SO much on the way! Including the famous Corrieshalloch Gorge! But when we stopped for the night.. We got a shock while out playing outside the RV! A wild animal crept up on us out of no where!!
We are the Ingham Family - currently on our way from our home in West Yorkshire, up through the Lake District and into Scotland to drive the North Coast 500 in our 6 berth mini house on wheels!
** We got our motor home from www.motorhomehiresheffield.co.uk. This is a small family run business based in Sheffield. They were fantastic from start to finish and we can highly recommend them for all your motorhome needs!

I would really like to know where you empty your loo and grey water as you haven’t said anything about that bit and it would be so helpful to people wishing to do the same as you o and I’ve just noticed when you’re driving it really dangerous to have your ladders down you need to put them up on the beds

You can empty the toilet in any other toilet you find as the liquid you use in it breaks down everything to stop it clogging up. There’s special loo roll too :) with the water you just open the drain on the outside and it just empties haha

Kelly Xx you must never empty a chemical toilet in a normal loo it has to be empty appropriately as it’s not to go straight into the sewage system that’s why on campgrounds they have a separate area for it as for the grey water I looked it up and you can put that down a drain apparently

That’s Reality I didn’t know that... no campsite I’ve been too has had separate loos for it and we have travelled all over the uk 😳 always been told to just use the normal ones! How strange! I’m sure some probably do have separate ones because they can stink badly 😂 so I’ve just read up on it as I wanted to check and it says it’s best to empty your toilet after 3 days of putting the liquid in as it’s less effective and there’s no problem with it going in a normal toilet. Also says there’s certain brands that cannot be used in a normal toilet if it has a septic tank. If it runs straight to the sewer it’s all good. Some places do have a special area but a lot don’t apparently haha. Fabulous toilet talk 😀

if you have time at the end of your trip and if you finish in Inverness you should finish by doing the NC250 to see all the little historic coastal towns along the route 🙂

Where I live there are always deer and sheep going across the road. I’ve started naming them. The 2 sheep I see on the way to my school are called bill and Ben 🤣🤣

We stayed at Lochinver 38 yrs ago. We went to Caithness lighthouse while we were in the a area. Had a great holiday. We stayed in a lodge on the loch edge

The deer you keep seeing are red deer and they are gorgeous! Not sure you’ll go through it at any point on you’re trip but Aviemore have a cairngorm reindeer centre where the girls can go see reindeer up close! They’re beautiful and Aviemore is a beautiful place

It's fantastic you are doing a big trip in Scotland, I love your holiday vlogs abroad but the sun doesn't like me much so not the types of holiday I could do. I love Scotland and should have been there in June. Using your trip as a learning experience for you all is fantastic, so many people just go visit sites but you are doing exactly what I do... A few people have mentioned that they aren't reindeer but deer, and really you shouldn't feed the wildlife as they can become dependent on us feeding them, this could put them in danger and they wouldn't find banana in the wild either, although I know your intentions were good and you looked it up, but looking up reindeer and then red or roe deer could give different results. Best just to admire from a distance. They are wild animals, they have antlers and if spooked, feel threatened, protecting ill or young they could react much quicker than you could run. Please be careful xxxx Keep enjoying your trip, your learning of new things and your time not killing each other in a tinier space than you are used to living in lol... Can't wait to see some outtakes of those it's of your trip lol Waiting in eager anticipation for your next vlog x

Just above Ullapool there’s a great home school place telling you all about the rocks, mountains my kids loved it and the loved getting the freedom of Ullapool, enjoy Durness when you get up there and don’t forget Togo to Smoo cave, campsite there is fab and the beach is fab once you climb down to it👍🏽
