Wild camping is amazing, it is just you and the nature around you, but sometimes nature reminds you who is boss.
On my latest adventure, Emma and I went wild camping along the coast. We found this beautiful road to drive and little did I know that this video would turn into a slight nightmare situation.
After some easy driving the soft sad of a cove gave us some issues, I barely made it through, but Emma got stuck with Nala at the worst place possible... inside the cove and the tide was on the rise. It was just us two and I did not want to get both cars stuck near the water, so I resorted to rather get the car out by its own means. After 2.5 hours of digging in close to the worst conditions imaginable, we managed to free Nala.
Hannes came to the rescue as we freed Nala, but thanks again for all his efforts. We successfully made it to the camp spot and despite the miserable weather, we were just relieved to be out of that anxiety-inducing situation.
As I said in the video, yes there were many things we could have done to not be in that situation and even get out of that situation faster, but these things happen so quickly. We stayed calm and managed to free the car regardless and now we are left with an experience both of us will remember for a long time!
