Recorded live at the Opera House in Grand Ledge, MI, in March 2024, The Pub Runners present a Musical Tour of Ireland concert.
"Wild Colonial Boy” is one of the many familiar songs from the 1952 movie The Quiet Man which starred John Wayne, Maureen O’Hara and Victor McLaglen. The movie was set in the Irish countryside near Cong.
On their musical tours of Ireland, the Pub Runners and those on the tour reenact the pub scene from the movie at Keanes Bar in Maam Cross . In this video, Jim Hogan from Grand Ledge portrays Sean Thornton.
