That deer reminds me of the deer in Nara Park in Japan. They’re extremely friendly and even bow to people there hoping to get deer biscuits. It’s adorable. Side note I want that table.

@@syxoed Diseases like CWD and Rabies cause a dazed state, in which the deer will often stand perfectly still, collapse, or walk in circles. This deer was walking perfectly fine and didn’t show any abnormal behaviour other than her unusual friendliness, so I wouldn’t say she has either of those.

1:50 This reminds me of a photo of a toad my grandpa took tens of years ago. He was walking home when he noticed a gorgeous toad (like in the video) and wanted to take a photo of it. So he told it: "Hold still, I'm gonna get my camera". All those minutes it took for him to grab his camera from home, the toad just stood there. Once grandpa took the picture he told the toad "Thanks, you can go now." the toad started hopping away. Amazing creatures these toads.

I lived in a small town once. There was a "town deer". Dunno it's background, but it would wait at the children's bus stop before and after school everyday to walk the kids up the road to where they'd split off to go to their homes, it would be there waiting the next morning to walk them to the bus stop. Thru the day it could be seen around town at different shops and stores, accepting treats from people. We only lived there a year so I don't know what ever happened to it. I assumed it was a doe, it was relatively large and never sprouted antlers. Maybe she became "of age" and finally got a bf and ran off to the wild woods with him and had a family.😄🦌
