Exquisite! So lovely how you used a composition of mostly shade with some stunning areas of light. And the glass vase comes to life with just a few colors and strokes! And the flowers, so beautiful...

Thank you so much Roxy, I definitely put a part of me in each of my paintings. I used two references for this painting - a digital study that I painted on my ipad from life and a not so good photo from which I took the details of the pattern of the tablecloth. So basically this painting was almost painted from life. In the photo, the background was very dark and the flowers were almost white...

2 years ago I saw your gouache vids, and oh boyyy I'm in love, rn you're the reason that I'm switching to gouache, for a change since I'ma rest from doing watercolor. Question tho, do you apply paint straight from the tube and undiluted?
