Be sure to check out the Beginners Guide for stuff you should be doing early on if you're just starting!! • Wild Hearts - Ultimate...
Kemono are beasts that have undergone a unique evolution by fusing with their environments, and that wield the power of nature to reshape their environment to suit their needs. You will encounter Kemono of all sizes - from plant infused squirrels to the massive Kingtusk wild boar, or the Deathstalker savage wolf and many more creatures. These enormous creatures use the power of nature itself to defend their new territory.
The ancient Karakuri technology enables you to craft and build new, highly flexible and creative hunting grounds to take down giant Kemono. Stock up on materials to build many kinds of Karakuri, depending upon your needs, skills, and which Kemono you are fighting. Every new Kemono you defeat unveils new Karakuri and new resources to use.
WILD HEARTS’ co-op and crossplay features allow you and up to two friends to hunt down Kemono together. Pack hunting enables you to expand your battle plans with more building capabilities and special missions. As a lone wolf, you can seamlessly join in and help other hunters in multiplayer mode through the Hunter Gate system, or you can take on the giant beasts on your own.
You can become the greatest hunter by gathering materials from each hunt and the environment, and craft unique sets of armor with different variations. With unique weapons to choose from, and tons of variations, there’s a combat style for everyone, each with different gameplay pace and attacks. You can craft gear with the material of defeated Kemono, further customizing it to suit your play style.
Immerse yourself in beautiful environments littered with structures that represent everyday village life, faith, and warfare, now swallowed up by nature. WILD HEARTS’ four hunting grounds - each representing the different seasons - are brought to life by the game’s gorgeous feudal Japanese setting, allowing you to take in the beauty of Harugasumi way flowery terrain (Spring), Natsukodachi Isle’s waterfall surrounded by the sea (Summer), Akikure Canyon’s natural landscape covered in fall leaves (Fall) and the split in half Frozen Moon Castle in Fuyufusagi Fort(Winter) - all accessible from the city of Minato.

So basically the best way to prepare food is to dry it and then smoke it. Since they boost buffs, especially drying. Pickling changes food stats with elemental buffs depending on the seasoning. So the best elemental food preparation appears to be: Pickling > Drying > Smoking. Edit: Nevermind on the pickling to drying part. It appears you can't dry pickled food. I guess it would be "too overpowered".

@@thekittenwithnoname while I don't have the game nor a playstation 5, but im definitely going to get them the first chance I get. Looking at the video, I don't think you can make the food worse. Drying and smoking enhances the skills. Pickling just changes the skills (depending on the seasoning) to like fire resistance or something similar.

Wild Hearts and Wo Long marks a new age of Koei Techmo games to me. It has been a long time since we’ve seen new IPs that feels polished and actually worth purchasing and investing time into. They have been recycling content for so long (and they still do with these titles, but on acceptable levels), the graphics are still a notch behind modern standards, their Art style still carries around the “PS3 games with good lighting” feels, but it’s improving none the less. I am quite optimist for Koei’s future titles. Thinking that Wild Heart was brought to us by Omega-Force of all Koei teams, impressive. Sometimes we forget they can do something else than recycled musou games..!

@@FightinCowboy With all due respect, it's really not. The examples you've shown were clearly set purely for the sake of progression and otherwise neglected in favor of trying to get through the story/rush to endgame/etc. There's no need to be condescending about it like you were in the video, because while these camps absolutely need improvement and should be worked on it's also very easy to understand how some players might have a bit of difficulty convincing themselves to go back and take things slow when there's something new and exciting right around the corner. Personally, I love setting up a map to fit my needs and trying to plan things out - but even I have a few maps that are completely neglected because I've been too distracted by the grind and/or story. Nothing wrong with being frustrated by it, but I don't think it's that difficult to understand how and why it happens.
@FightinCowboy
@FightinCowboy Жыл бұрын
Whenever I got to a new zone it took about 30 mins to run around and explore while looking for good camp zones while collecting dragon veins and requires very little effort. Your map having 1 camp tells me one thing: you're lazy. It's no different from people in monster hunter that are end-game with only the base camp. If we're hunting mighty kemono or volatile and your map isn't developed? Yikes
@ravenousglavenus7656
@ravenousglavenus7656 Жыл бұрын
@@FightinCowboy Eh, to be fair my response was a little more in regards to your concerns about tower placement & flying vines. I'm especially on your side when it comes to camp placement, but in the video you go over more than just camps and that's the part that I personally disagree with. Speaking on behalf of myself with this one, but I don't really like setting up Flying Vines until I'm more familiar with a map's overall layout and where I'm going to be encountering Kemono the most. And I imagine this is especially true for people who are less likely to take their time and are instead trying to rush through the game. I'd wager they don't generally make it to that step where they're actually setting up transportation lines, unfortunately. Regardless, it comes down to a little more than just effort and often can reflect things like available time, attention span, and more. The whole "If I can do it, anyone can" thing doesn't really work when players like yourself and I tend to go hard in these types of games but the average player generally does not. Which brings me back to my overall point, it's not about whether or not it's right. This is literally the most frustrating way to go about progressing through the game - especially if you're asking for help and effectively handicap your teammates by giving them no transportation resources to work with. You claim it's baffling, you suggest you don't understand it, but it's very obvious how and why this happens.

These games need to include some sort of endgame to keep the players playing. End game shouldn't be farming mats to craft trans or talisman/decorations. End game should be like arenas where solo players or groups compete against other players to see who kills the monsters faster for unique rewards. Put two groups in one arena with both monsters each group needs to take on. The assigned monster for each group can't harm the opposing monster but they can help it in staying longer alive by disrupting the other groups progress with traps laid out or specific mechanics. You know something fun. A ranking system for fastest monster kill etc get special rewards.

okay so actually the stat screen of your character (edit: NOT the forging/equipment/upgrade screen of your Weapons/Armors) shows the stat differences for anyone who bothers. The actual damage increase at least from what i can tell is +1 damage per +2 savage on horizontal attacks. haven't tested it with other weapon types yet
