Check out the animals from Oregon's Wild Horse Corral Facility available for online auction, July 5 - 12, 2021!
In this latest auction event, there are 19 horses from southeast Oregon, along with many more from other parts of the West. The Oregon horses available range from 2 to 10 years old and come from the Stinkingwater, Palomino Buttes, South Steens, Paisley Desert, Beatys Butte, Sheepshead-Heath Creek, and Warm Springs herd management areas. These 19 horses are all eligible for the BLM's Adoption Incentive Program, which gives $1,000 to qualified applicants who adopt an untrained animal.
Before horses and burros are shipped from the facility, they are given a final brand and health inspection from a veterinarian. Horses adopted during this auction will be available for pick-up in various locations across the U.S.
