The price of the akrapovic exhaust is insane! It's a 125cc!! Yes it's a good looking exhaust, but without decat it sound horrible. I largely prefer a full Leovince exhaust than just the slip on akra! But anyway thanks for the comment!

Hello, the sound is amazing! I wasn't going in very high rpm because the piston, valve, cylinder has been replaced the day before this video! But maybe you are true, here's more recent video, like the last one uploaded today, I'm going full throttle at max rpm! Oh and I paid 170€ for the decat on ebay.

@@idogueta5869 Oh sorry I thought it was the video of 390 I answered badly. So I broke my engine at 10kkm, due to overrevs while downshifting. Valve hits the piston and broke it in pieces. But other than that no problem and it was fully cover by KTM.

Nope, it works like original without touching anything. But it's recommended to put a ecu on it with the preset for a full exhaust! Because with the full exhaust you loose power.

yes, you need to remap the bike or get a rapid bike system. If you don't, you will lose power and maybe blow your bike up...

It broke, the valve was hitting the piston ! The piston broke in pieces ! It was due to hard downshifting i was doing > Over revs ! So if you got the bike, be gentle with x)

@@Icarius.35 Et la nouvelle MT est une sérieuse opposante ! La prochaine tuono aussi ! C'est une question de goût surtout. Mais pour avoir eu la 125 et maintenant le 390. Je ne peut que te conseiller la duke. Sachant que je n'ai pas tester les autres évidemment mais sache que la duke est vraiment une moto incroyable. Tu te trompera pas avec. Me suis tellement amusé en 18000km, les Alpes, la Corse. Partie cycle formidable qui continue de me rendre de bon service sur le 390 en tout cas !

I love the design of the Honda, but the problem is the horsepower. With 125cc you have access ton only 15hp and with the cb125r you have only 13 so it's make a difference versus the other bike!

@@Nak2A yes,but i use motorcycle only for city driving,,and its ok If you drive out of city any 125cc is not so good,but i think that any 125cc for city is best

@@saleelas5702 Well, my duke is doing pretty well on normal road. Can drive around 100,110 and pass car if I want. So for driving at 80kmh on normal road it's really good. And I'm pretty sure the cb125r is good enough to do the same. But if you just want to drive in city it's already enough and the Honda is a really good choice.

the new 2021 honda has 15 hp now, compared to the old one which has 11

its best that you have a remap done by a decent shop yeah , i wouldn't say you'll blow your engine up but it could run pretty bad after removing the cat also a remap doesn't always do the trick tho , i used to own a Aprilia RS 125 & a now a KTM RC 125 and on the KTM i put everything back to stock , even with remapping the thing ran worse , now with a simpel MIVV Slip on exhaust it sounds almost as good imo. don't go for the hastle & just put a decent slip on on it without DB killer

@@tomweyts Yeah I keep hearing that a simple slip-on will be much safer than dealing with a remap with a decat. I've also decided to get a piggyback ecu to richen up the low end of my duke 125 not for power but just eliminate the jerkiness. Ideally I think I would leave the cat on and just delete the pre-silencer and put a slip-on. But I haven't found any link pipe that does this, all of them delete the cat as well.

Yeah, you can remove the pre-silencer and the cat, or just the cat and leave the pre-silencer (it's what I use on the 390 now). Also the better for the 125 is just a slip-on exhaust. I used to ride with a full exhaust, yeah it's sounds great, but on a 125 every hp is important, and loosing few for an exhaust is not the best deal.

Hello, it's not needed for just a slip-on, my duke was with a full exhaust, and i didn't do anything to the ecu.

So if you bought a used bike, be aware of this, my video before this one you can cleary hear a pretty loud click.

@@Nak2A pourquoi ne pas mettre un 13 ? et dernière petite question cela change vraiment les perf de la duke de mettre une ligne ou de decata ? et qu’est-ce que l’on peut modifier sur une duke pour la rendre plus performante ?

@@racon_1003 Mettre un pignon de 13 peut ajouter un peu plus de puissance à basse vitesse. Mais le problème c'est que tu vas perdre une dixaine de km/h en pointe, déjà que c'est pas extrêmement rapide... Et le decata, pot, ajoute très peu de performance c'est plus sensorielle, dans la tête que ça vas faire une diff.

@@Nak2A et en côte ça accélère beaucoup ? j’hésite à prendre une duke ou mettre un kit sur ma 50 du coup voilà si tu aurais une comparaison de puissance par rapport à un kit pour me situer

@@racon_1003 Bah en côte, si t'es déjà à plus de 100 avant tu vas tenir les 100. Si il faut accélérer en grosse côte ça sera 80-90 max ! Mais après tu peut pas comparer à une 50, car c'est beaucoup plus confort, fiable, en plus la duke consomme rien. Donc même si t'auras plus de perf avec un gros kit t'ira quand même pas très loin !

I don't think other brand do better so it's reliable ! If you take care of the bike it's gonna be without problem ! But you know it's a small bike so it's really easy to push the bike to the limits H24 ! I've broke the engine because i was riding like an idiot during 13000km ( piston, valve and all the parts around broke in pieces ). All the parts were under warranty so it's was free. Now i drive better, smoother, i'm taking care of the mecanical parts and i hope don't break anything !

buy it new, you get warranty, just do maintainance and all that and you will have no problems. make sure you do them at a ktm dealer, if not you could lose your warranty

@@MK0413 ich finde dass 125er genau so zu den gscheitn motorädnern zähln wie die größeren und jeder gscheite motorradfahrer weiß dass auch die sehr viel spaß machen und dann gibts doch die deppen die meinen sie sind soviel besser wie alle anderen weil sie ein viel "cooleres" bike haben, verstehst du?

@@aron4371 man muss aber auch mit einer 125er, die halt leider am Berg langsam wird, unnötig laut sein. Erstens dauert es ewig, bis die aus dem Geräuschfeld raus sind und 2. werden wegen zu lauten Fahrern halt Motorräder kastriert. Und es sind halt echt ein großer Teil der 125er Fahrer. Ich bin vorletztes Jahr auch noch eine gefahren, aber es hat einfach keinen Sinn, eine so laut zu machen und dann geht sie nicht mal wirklich gut
