He's been insane as always. He can burst people down, tank damage, combat an enemy in an auto-attack duel, split push, and heavy cc. Just get good at going in and out with his 3rd skill and youre a crocodile god guaranteed.

He's extremely bad at tanking damage you don't want to be the one to start fights or frontline.

@@bogymanthedark you absolutely dont, but sometimes you absolutely should start the fight, simply by engage and catching an enemy IF you feel like you can do so, and make sure your team is able to follow up. Catch overextending enemies like their mid or adc, or especially the enemy jungle in objective wars.

Renekton is not one of the strongest lvl 1 champions, he is decent at lvl 1 because of his huge cooldowns, but he is one of the strongest lvl 2 and 3 champions, because he can oneshot almost anyone (with more aggressive laning runes than showed in the video)

He's already very strong early, so you don't need to go full aggressive runes because you'll be a glass canon by mid game.

Great video really helps because im a jngl-top main ex challenger and im trying to learn all toplaners and basically every champ counter. Also at 9:00 you didn't stun akali, u stunned the cannon and you took a turret shot.

This is a perfect example showing that kills dont matter. Its all about Towers and Gold and actually towers is what gives the most gold in the game so its mainly about towers. They were behind in kills but ahead in towers and gold the whole game. I can garenteed they were actually never in a losing position in this game although they behind in kills.

Bro I see exactly what you mean about the mindset. Funny thing is I often get like 40% wr when training new champions and then somehow I suddently understand the mindset you need on this champion (more than mechanics), and wr jumps to 65%. Gonna watch the rest of the video now, cheers ✌️

Something with renekton you can do, when you’re against a team that doesn’t have much armour built and killing them isn’t hard exactly, but it’s hard to actually stay on them to kill them, replace cleaver with serylda’s, it turns your ultimate into an AoE slow, turns your Q into a slow, turns your E into a slow, let’s you stay close while also giving you upfront pen that’s more important against assassins and marksman than cleaver will be.

Usually I go max second skill first cuz it deals huge amount of damage, the cool thing is it ignores the shield, which mean you can one shot their adc(kaisa specifically) with the empowered second ability for an entire game 😎😎😎
