Thank you for explaining in detail Macro Game Play. So helpful to a potato like me. I feel you have made the Wild Rift world a better place. I Love how you turned sure losses in to Wins and explaining to us what you did in order to do it. Towards the end (1:14:26) so awesome how all 3 of you were pushing top lane and then once the last top tower fell all three of you immediately peeled off to go help take second mid turret. My team would've tried to attack Nexus or try to kill the lone defender and all die like a lame version of the Suicide Squad.

Imo as a ADC and Sup main, Braum work best with Ashe and Lucian. Lucian can proc Braum faster than anyone could. They're one of the most annoying duo lane i've ever seen. Ashe however can compliment Braum CC to a whole new level. The Freijord duo not only look cool working together (both ice theme), they can disrupte any team comp. Also his war can save Ashe from lots of threat, and if someone can get to Ashe? Ult them. I personally only pick Ashe when i have a Braum sup

Thank you for this unique perspective in Macro (and everything really) from the Support role. As a Support main, I appreciate this perspective. Other position mains can tell me what is important for them, but it is hard for them to tell me what I should care about. I appreciate everything, especially the insight into your decision-making. It is hard not to get analysis paralysis in a game, but you give very simple things to think about. Is your team speedrunning the game? Here is what you can do... Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Broken, I know I've commented before but I just want to say thanks again. Agreeing with the others here--thanks for all the effort you put in to teaching and helping us understand the game. I stopped being a potato brain and have been studying the game better. I've played 318 matches this season, 7 MVPs so far, with the last 4 being in the last week and 3 today, with some SVPs peppered in there too. I also stopped flaming and listening to "we need a tank", so that's good i guess too.

Gj m8! Now we need a tank tho 😂
@toddmacadam3888
@toddmacadam3888 2 жыл бұрын
Just to be clear, sometimes you do need a tank! My fear is that everyone watched that video and took away that they don't have to ever play tank as a Support. Knowing when to play one (and which one) is the key. If your team has Assassins (Evelynn, Fizz, Kat, etc) and 0-1 Fighters (Xin, Diana, Pantheon, etc), then you should play a tank, or they will be unable to do their job. You need to decide who is your primary engager. For example, Diana is a good primary engager, so Galio, Braum, Rakan are great Support options. But if you have Irelia and Fizz, then you need to initiate, so Leona, Alistar, Malphite, Thresh would be better. But don't pick an all-in engage tank if your team is all poke (e.g. Ahri/Ziggs/Ori mid, with an ADC top). In that case, you can still play a tank, but use them to peel, and only all-in if you've poked them down first. Braum, Gragas, or Alistar work well here (you'll notice that some tanks can do multiple roles: primary engage, secondary engage, or peel - pick these if forced to pick early). Enchanter Supports work best when you already have at least 2 good front line heroes (e.g. Garen top plus Diana mid, or Pantheon top, plus Xin jungle), and are essential if you have 3 front-liners.. Good front liners are at least a little tanky. Evelynn, Fizz, and Yasuo are melee heroes, but they are NOT front line champs! A front line champ can hold the line, not run in and then immediately run back out!

Once you know if you have macro-less teammates, then you can start to play off they're idiocy with the remaining good player by using them as enemy attention play things as you take objectives hoping the enemy isn't smart and knows exactly what your up to.

On the 2nd match before 1st dragon, that Khazix ( who was taking a risky blue buff ) would have survived if Brand would have rotated, or even Tristana since you were close by and would have zoned Cait away if she tried to follow from behind and Lee Sin was all the way across map.

Firstly astounding content as always! I have something interesting to share with you. Imo lack of macro knowledge is the second biggest problem in the game and that’s extremely common amongst non previously pc lol players. The first is the blatant inflation of player ranks. Let me get to the interesting part and shock you a bit, my 35+ years older brother has downloaded the game not more than 2 months and right now he’s plat 2 and doesn’t even know what Smite is. I repeat, he doesn’t fking know what Smite is at all and he’s plat 2 currently. Let alone about items knowledge, he just buys what’s recommended by the game to him and i just explained to him last hitting minions actually gets him more gold and told him and exp. I mean if I’m being fair he lacks about 75% basic knowledge about the game but somehow this doesn’t prevent him from hitting plat 2 in the game. This is the biggest problem in wild rift imo i mean it’s almost impossible for a bronze player in pc not to know what smite is let that sink in for all non pc players…

There are 2 reasons for this: 1) Rank-loss protection ensures that anything close to 50% win-rate guarantees you climb to Diamond, and 2) The MMR system is rigged to make games "fair". By "fair", I mean that the goal is to make every game even. So if you're a top player in your tier, you get potatoes. If you're a potato, you get top players. Win too much and you get bigger potatoes. Lose too much and you get better teammates. The end result is that everyone gets a 50% win rate, and the only difference between Plat and Bronze is games played. This is a monumentally stupid system. Above average players deserve to climb, and below average players don't deserve all the abuse they get (it's not their fault they suck - it's Riot's for promoting them well beyond their abilities). If teams were purely random, then good players would climb and weak players would settle in a tier of their peers - it's a self-balancing system. But here's the rub - Riot doesn't give 2 shits about being fair - they only care about turnover (i.e. keeping players hooked), so they use this BS MMR system to rig matches. It's the "participation trophy" mentality. Don't force players to improve, bc that's too hard and many will just quit instead, so Riot makes sure every potato can climb so they can keep selling them skins and passes. Now, you'll occasionally hear top top players say that this can't be true. They've climbed, so the game can't be rigged. I love Excoundrel, but he had this incredibly naive opinion. Put LeBron James + four 12 year-olds against 5 average players, and LeBron will still win. Same goes for BrokenSupport, Darkbreaker, Excoundrel, etc. when paired with bad Wild Rift players. But put an above average player with those same four 12 year-olds, and the 5 average players will win. The proof of this system is evident every game. I main Support in Emerald/Diamond, don't steal farm and build to support (i.e. I'm not one of those dickhead Lux/Brand/Seraphine Ignite+Electrocute twats, so I rarely get kills, just assists). And yet, I frequently outfarm 1-2 allies every game (bc I know that gold wins games). If you can't outfarm your Support, then you're not having a bad game; you're just a bad player! You know the type - they go looking for fights while 1-2K behind, completely ignoring the fat minion wave that would help them catch up. The sort of idiots who frequently lose their towers to minions while they chase kills. How do players so utterly clueless get to Emerald and even Diamond? The rigged MMR system, that's how! I sometimes play ADC and would say I'm an average ADC at best...and yet I'm a better ADC than 90% of the ones I get paired with. How can that be? Oh right, because I'm getting the bottom 10% of ADCs to make the matches "fair". What really annoys me about this stupid, unnecessary system is that it actually punishes you for improving. The better you get at the game, the worse players they will saddle you with! And since these idiots never needed to learn how to play to climb, they think they're great and blame all their deaths on you. Had a Diamond ADC call me trash bc they died fighting 1v2 (not under tower) while I helped us secure Herald. I participated in 22 of 27 kills, and helped secure EVERY objective, but in this moron's mind, I was a bad Support for not babysitting their below average ass all game. Had another Diamond ADC telling me to play tank Support when we had Jax, Diana, Xin Zhao (3 frontline engagers who also like to duel). I played Soraka, kept everyone alive, and we stomped. Sadly, the MMR system has ruined the game. We all deserve to play with and against players of similar ability. Certain knowledge should be expected by the time players reach Gold/Plat/Emerald/Diamond, but I'll play with Diamond players who don't even know to leash for their jungler. In fact, I'd say >50% of Emerald players don't leash. I play on the Americas server, which seems to be 99.99% latino. Every latino WR KZfaqr/streamer must be a troll, because these players are HORRIBLE, lacking basic knowledge you'd expect from Gold players, let alone Emerald+.

Broken, I have a question. Silly you may think but I’m studying aviation and they say there is no silly question. Sometimes when my team loses a tier 2 turret on any side lane, the enemy minions crash into our inhibitor turrets. The lane is always on constant pressure. If we focus on any part of the map, the minions can take out the turret or the enemy can fucus the inhib and take it anyway. Losing any inhibitor is as bad it is, and many potatoes just ignore minion agro. The stronger minions enemy gets when they take inhib can and will damage the nexus to the point we might lose. So what do i do in this situation? Sometimes when i see we lost any tier 2 turret and getting a lot of pressure from that lane, i think it’s necessary to take their tier two turret on the respective lane to relieve the pressure. But as an adc it’s not my job to split push and take the turret. And i dont know if it’s the right call to make so i dont ask my teammates to do it. I hope that makes sense please help. It happens too often.
@BrokenSupport
@BrokenSupport 2 жыл бұрын
That is one of the main reasons I have my AP damage. Most of the times you are the one having to defend a tower from minions cause they don’t know the basics of the game and don’t farm at all. This happens more often when you are winning the enemy team wants to avoid farm up/ push to avoid the 5vs5 fights you need to defend it by yourself… ❤️

On the first game, when you picked off caitlyn, I just think that the baron was a 50/50 call even though you had the gold lead, since enemy team has better team fight comp and they can kill you all at baron pit? . These are just my thoughts and I enjoyed the video very much thank you for the tips ❤️❤️

bruh, best Christmas movie 🤣 The game is ez now, I only need 20k games on nami. 🥳 Your gameplay seems so relaxed, i'd like to see you playing and hear you commenting live. I guess the 1v5 syndrome has a lot to do whit our reward system, who hijacks the brain. I do that all the time also 🤣 Nice channel bro 🫶 Really got some valuable insight. Thanks!

how much armor penetration really makes sense with renekton or anyone else vs crit? Seems like all you need is 25% crit and you crit enough but how much armour shred do i need really?

Your videos opened my eyes as an adc main. It made me realize that my supports lose faith in me when they stay away from me. This causes me to power farm and try to become useful again. Which has won me a fair amount of games. Thanks for the videos. They help a lot 😊

Haha! Sometimes it’s super frustrating having an adc brain afk farming minions wasting trades, good harras opportunities, when I have adcs like that I just completely ignore them they just don’t bring any value to the team

If you were in a duo Q, would u use the soloQ build, or the GM build (assuming you use the GM build because you trust your teammates to do their share, and you be proper support champ)? Is that how you make your decision?
@BrokenSupport
@BrokenSupport 2 жыл бұрын
Honestly since GM people on this game are not GM i prefer that build when they have some extreme poke champions ( like ziggs )
@baheybayram7584

about the third game why not go locket for ziggs ult + jax and irelia can (if fed) one shot soeone before the redemption comes. also i find it really weired that garen and draven didnt try to tp for baron. (this elo is really boosted)

What is worse than a fed ally that gives away free shut downs split pushing with no vision into enemy territory and wanting to fight 24/7 are team mates that get cocky bc we are winning even though they aren’t the fed ones they will run it down and try to fight 24/7 without me when I am the one carrying and they throw the game. It happens way too often.

Game 2 I can relate to, because I usually tilt playing with very passive players. If I can stay chill maybe I'll hit diamond 2 at best and not be camping diamond 4. (Diamond 2, because I have no clue what games are like in masters+)
@BrokenSupport
@BrokenSupport 2 жыл бұрын
The games in diamond 4 are the same at master honestly, things start to get better in grandmaster 400-500 LP but most of the times same crap

Really? If that's the case it should be slightly easier to hit masters while I farm both the lp and my friend list 😮
