It depends on the matchup. Sometimes it's better to punish them when their trying to farm at the wrong time. For example against an akali, if you try to deny her xp while her fog ability is up the amount of damage that she can deal to you is definitely not worth it. In this scenario is better to just go even. But if you know that her fog ability is down the denial is way more worth it as the trade can be won more easily. For example, in the beggining of this video notive how Royal says that he is playing around Shen's shield, it's the same concept of timing. :D

You don't. Strates like these only work w/ strong early champs. Late game champs have to play the late game. Blame Riot for making their game like this.

@@etiennelatour i mean im not asking how to win lane. im asking how to not get bullied like in the video and how to safely scale without losing too much. why would i blame anyone tho? the design is okay. you need to pay for power and you either lose early but have power late or you do otherwise

This mostly applies to baron lane or maybe support holding for adc. Good midlaners usually roam
