I just bought rakan too so this upload is just in time. I suck with him rn, im more of a hook support specialist. (I'm also really good at swain rn but I'm also trying to climb out of plat again) but I've been trying to focus on supports with maximum solo carry value or really high CC since I play solo most of the time.

That’s why when I play any full AP supp I always tell my team to wait until 15min, that’s when I get to 2-3 items and get Storm stacked. And that gives me like 500+ ap, and it’s broken on ap scaling supps

The better i play, the worst my teammates are. But People keep saying it's skill diff. I play adc and sup in solo q, i have 9 games in a row getting the svp. I was demoted 4 times to diamond with 6.1 kda with 46% win rate. I swear i'm about to stop playing cause it's too much, Just wanted to say it, cause i'm tired XD i swear 8 of 10 games i have at least 1 dude trolling. Riot needs to do hard reset asap. But they won't do such thing cause if bad players can't climb they will eventually stop playing due to frustration, and so pepito1997 main yasuo 0/10 otp won't be giving no more of his parents money to riot ☠️

A couple of days ago i joined some random duo party cause solo q is hell him and i were 2v8 he got svp i got S tier , U know what he said he said “ karma ty for this nice team “ as if im the one responsible for the mmr not riot ? we both are D1/2 like and he is the leader of lobby… yeah this season flat out sucks

At this point I've just been spamming Nasus mid and Tank Veigar and been 1v9 carrying pretty consistently. Nasus if the team needs frontline, Veigar if team has frontline and needs better peel. Way too much utility, damage and tankiness on these 2 not to use them. My Veigar build is disgustingly good. Resistance boots, Archangel's, Rabadon's, iceborn gauntlet, spirit visage or Frozen Heart, twinguard or abyssal mask. Glacial Augment, resolve runes, giant slayer or gathering storm depending on tanks or squishies. Combined with exhaust, glacial augment proccing on your cage means enemies can never jump on you and kill you in one shot. Nor can they damage your team very well. They cannot move either, meaning meteor enchant just shreds them while you have insane ability haste to spam abilities with 700+ AP... AS A TANK. Because veigar infinitely scales, plus mana items cause Archangels staff to give you bonus AP. Please try this build, its so powerful for carrying.

Story time ; so after this game obvs the next day I looked at our team comp and you said Rakan is a great Follow Up team CC. We had a Swain and a Master Yi now we All know Yi dives 1v5 like he needs Oxygen to breath. So hell yea Rakan. But im a dumbarse and i didn't change my runes. I was in Tank runes. Glacial, Colossus, 2nd wind, Overgrowth and i think Transcends. And i took relic sheild. But i build as AP. I GOT MVP WITH 5/4/17 and 24k dmg lvl 15. 2nd after our fed ADC.

is it normal to be matched against platinum when l am silver 1? l do feel it is quite hard to play an off meta pick, the possibility of being called a troll while you play normally and not for the first time is ridiculous. Support is complicated in this game but the matchmaking can make it worse.
