Essence Reaver first item on Samira is good? I Included her build and runes in this video and I also add some commentaries throughout the gameplay.

I use ER too. It's good for her mana problem and the passive Essence Flare will boost her ability damage a bit.

She doesn't have a mana problem... She only spams 1st ability which doesn't cost that much....

@@Shiljamannn This is so true. I play her in GM and Vanquish tier and I never had a mana issue on her kit. The thing you need is to sustain so you can have multiple ulti in one teamfight.

I prefer BT first item for better sustain in teamfights. I always build BT, IE, Chargeblade, Serylda, and GA for late game sustain. You can change GA to Deathdance if it's on cooldown. I don't think essence would be necessary to her because you can already have cooldown in building chargeblade and serylda's.

8:40 i suggest you to press the turret button instead when you want to hit the fruit

I do that when using blast cone and it's so helpful especially when there's an enemy blocking the blast cone

I have played like 32 matches on Samira PH server and got a 6 winstreak on her I build ER too it's not about the mana problem it's the extra critical damage and the ability haste too I don't get why people doesn't understand that are they low elo? Lol

@@Jissen05 Interesting. You argument that building ER is not about the mana regeneration, but rather for extra critical damage of the passive and ability haste. For those who don't know the passive of the item, here is a short explanation "Damaging active abilities and empowered attacks deal 10 (+ 70% critical strike chance) bonus physical damage. " Basically Q will do additional 10 + (25*0.7) = 27.5 ad dmg as a first item. If you had 100% it would be 10 + (100*0.7) = 80 ad. It's arguably a weaker sheen item. It costs 3250g. BT gives you vamp (15%) and additional shield. Costs 3300g. Your ult will keep you alive with this item. So you can ask yourself "do I poke with my Q's the enemy for a bit of damage or do I want lifesteal and shield for 50g more?" In the end it's a playstyle and everyone to their own. The early more damage by ER gives with 40 AD + 27.5 additional AD. Her Q does 5 + (75%AD) damage. Let's forget her base AD and only calculate the item damage with ER. 40*0.75+27.5+5= 62.5 With BT it's 50 AD -> 50*0.75+5=42.5 for each Q hit (without base AD damage). So basically I can unterstand why someone wants to buy ER over BT. If you hit every Q, you will do more damage. I also think this effect will also be triggered by the E ability. But with BT you will get 40 - 320 shield. So in the end it's more about playstyle. More dmg with crit chance scaling and no shield/heal OR less dmg, a lot of heal + shield.

I'm not sure about essence reaver. I don't build it and I have never mana problems, only after a lot of fights but normally I recall before that anyway. Also the first skill can crit without essence reaver so even less reason to build it. I build bloodthirster first since it brings more benefits, into IE into stormrazor and then it depends on the teams, penetration, GA, edge of night... You can build a lot

Why essence reaver.....? Maybe better to build either Chargeblade or Quickblades now, to have your 2nd ability more often. If you go full crit, I believe the best is Bloodthrster, IE, Chargeblade, and Stormrazor. That way you will deal a fair amount of AP also, since Samira deals some AP with her abilities also.

She's a caster marksman so ER definitely works good on her. That build you mention tho is way better when your team lacks AP
