I play as Sett from time to time and what can I say is that he is formidable right now. He was crazy strong when he arrived on the Wild Rift, but not OP anymore. So don't fool yourself into thinking that he is broken. His W is really strong, but that's it. If you don't get your enemy into the true damage area of your second ability, you won't do as much damage as you should. Things to keep in mind when playing Sett.

Hey ex top GM 1 Sett here 1200+ games here some tips.. - When fast pushing lane stand under the turret before the minions and charge your haymaker to one shot wave. - You can E + Flash for zero reaction time from the enemy. - ALWAYS E+W for guarenteed true damage. - Ulting enemy bonus HP (Tank) on backliners, speaks for itself but happens way to little. - Armor and magic resist will slow down full grit bar so for mathematically build you avoid these things. Extras: -Grit bar is 50% of your HP. -All Sett abilties scale on AD. -Ulting Nasus, Mundo, Lulu ult etc. WILL scale with ultimate damage. - Showstopper can be used as escape and as insect. -Sett is one of the strongest statchecking early game champions so you always want to play aggresive Sett is known for having a second ultimate called Haymaker. AOE ability that does over 2,000+ true damage at once with a 4 second shield that triples his health bar making you unkillable for the duration.. Oh comes back every 6 seconds btw Its your only win condition in a fight so NEVER waste it.

as a sett main i always buy the armour boots first item when i play against ranged matchups this will help you a lot you can catch them ez because you will have more movement speed and you will be so tanky

A huge tip i can give as a top 200 sett i that you can just dodge many skill shots if you use your 1st ability/Q correctly just use your joystick to another direction when you see the skill shot coming and click 1st ability while facing towards the enemy (Sett's first ability gives movement speed towards the enemy so this works). Note: If you dont use your joystick and mess up the moment you'll walk right into the skill shot😂 But this works easily to counter lux, morgana root , ahri charm almost all the skill CCs

Also honorable mention that you should've still gone Divine Sunderer because of its healing and if so then even spirit visage for 30% more healing and the build would have been DS +BC+SG+ATwinguard/Randuins +Spirit Visage and you would've literally outdamaged the khaazix even. But as always a TOTAL BANGER OF A VIDEO!❤❤

I reached Challenger multiple times with Sett (~1k9 games) here's my tips: -Always rush boots, usually match you lane's opponent. -Use conq vs ranged match-up, or better mid late game, replace demolish with second wind or brutal. -Build Sterak as second item for squishy team, Devine Sunderer for bruisers, tanks -Build bramble vest after boots if enemy has good healing, and only complete it as fourth or fifth items. -Learn E + Flash, W + Flash combo, extremely useful.

why steraks 2nd? cz there’s not much other options available? i usually like hull to be a nuisance on the sidelanes but i can see why you suggest steraks as it gives best possible value in teamfights

Sett's 3rd ability box's side has a tad bit bigger range than the straight box when into a ranged matchup use 1st ability towards them and 3rd ability boxes side for higher sucess rates. Note: It takes practice and also sometimes you may miss by just a millisecond

20:33 Game was endable here if you had a stoneplate or Randuins omen instead of GA ,but ig even with the GA you could've ended the game by good 2nd ability usage you could tank 1 or 2 turret shots // (I'm sorry if my comments are annoying but I play too much Sett to let this slide but always love for you Hells❤) But you definitely needed you team to stop the enemies from coming back

Sett main here, you always build sett with an item that has both damage and health. His key main ability is always his Haymaker(2) which scales on both damage and health this ability is the bread and butter of sett. You always want to have the most true damage as possible on sett. The go to build for maximum Haymarker(2) damage is Steraks, Warmog, Blackcleaver, Divine sunderer and Hullbreaker. On runes always go Grasp main rune. SECONDARY RUNE ALWAYS PRECISION : Gathering storm, Last stand and Optional Legend Tenacity. Dont go demolish on set his first ability already does so much damage on its unnecessary instead go overgrowth.

Wrong, i was challenger last season top 3 sett. Sett main damage is not his haymaker. If you build gathering storm you have wrong mentality on sett. You wanna finish games quick by taking towers.

i mean gathering is quite the ballsy move considering how his abilities fall off late except for W. would rather run brutal for lane power where he’s actually strong at. since resolve first tree is so broken rn it’s better to stick to that. and if you’re into precision main than i think brutal, last stand/giant slayer and alacrity/tenacity. and a resolve rune as secondary is the best possible choice. and yeah demolish not worth it imo as well but if you want the heavy splitting style you can use it ig

Btw hells you can actually run ingenious hunter instead of demolish mostly tho against more tanky match ups and defense boots if needed, passive of the items will activate a lot more often/faster, you will be wayy more harder to die
