This why I love you broken. Your builds just simply makes sense. I’ve been building my runes like everyone else told me to (scorch, electrocute, etc) and every single time I have to land full combos. Nice video Broken. Didn't know you were also a Zyra main hehe. One thing I've learned though is AP does increase plant damage but only like a small amount (5% ap ratio then it further gets reduced due to the plants only dealing 50% damage) so yeah, Liandry's is def her best bet for damage. Hopefully they make a QoL change and allow her plants to use rune and item effects. Plants on PC allow you to proc the damage supp item and scorch so Idk why they didn't do it here.

@@BrokenSupport Yeah you're right. Tbh, I'd rather have reduced plant damage cause I can see how annoying they are, but the trade-off is fix the bugs (Kraken Slayer) and allow Runes and Item effects to proc it.

Champ that has short range and mobility and Darius. They can just kite him to death before reaching the range. Champs that are heavily team reliant like Galio/ Shen (basically no ult if no one lives long enough by the time he gets there or has some sort of cc so his ult hits) Weak team fight like Hecarim, Fiora. High skill cap like Yasuo, Ire, Lee. I played a lot of Aram (Aram legend 7 max 2 seasons) and honestly the number of Yasuo that actually did damage more than the average of the team is less than 5. So that balanced out. Unlike Lux who can just through some roots and spam Warwick is balanced in terms of damage and sustain, even weak before his buff a few months ago. Honestly almost NO ONE plays him.

Hi, broken. Merry Christmas to you! Hope you had a wonderful time and had many cheesecakes. I noticed something, somehow, after you buy liandry, the plants can proc kraken and on hit effects! So maybe rushing liandry first is also ideal for mid laner and u can scortch more afterwards? But i still a big fan of the defensive runes. Much safer option to play with

I don't know if this is diff from PC, but E level ups only increase base damage and don't reduce cool downs. So since the main utility of E is root and applying Liandry/Rylai's, I like maxing Q first. It both increases base damage and reduces cooldown so if you can get it upgraded before first objective, since it can spawn multiple plants if multiple people are hit unlike E, I find it to be super powerful in team fights when everyone is bunched together. I even like upgrading W before E since it also reduces CDR and increases slow. Anyway, just a thought since base damage isn't as important with E as applying effects is. Thanks again for the gameplays brother!

You're right, but E also increases root duration here (similar to PC's but not properly said in the tooltip.) Although her main thing is plants, one of Zyra's best skills is how much CC and slow she could apply then reapply all throughout the fight. E being maxed first allows you to catch and pick off enemies easier due to the increased duration, but I do get why Q is more important for her in your playstyle. Damage is one thing, but Zyra (especially in the supp role) undoubtedly is one of League's annoying CC champs. She can't lock you in forever, but once she does, it'll be hard to get out due to how intense the slow is from her plants.

@@mhreinhardt Yeah, I thought so too at first, but someone pointed it out, and you can actually see it in your tooltip when you hold your E skill to see the description. It goes from 1.25/1.5/1.75/2 secs per level.

I think they should fix her skills' tooltips because we don't know the AP scaling of her plants (they do scale with AP and currently in PC is 18% per attack) and the root duration also increases with every upgrade of E, not just the damage. Overall, nice game, Master. I do build her with AP, HP, and some CDR and MP. Better abuse the plants than her actual skills instead. 😅

I played around with it a bit in practice mode, and in case you're interested, the plants do 10-80 (depending on lvl)+10% AP damage. So they do scale with AP, just not a huge amount

Zyra does seem strong, i mean everything does when you play it, but when i went against zyra mid and i played Ezreal i won pretty easily, although i do have almost 1k games and idk if it's because of that or because the enemy didn't play zyra as good as you, but i didn't find it that difficult to play against

IMO depends on matchup, vs caitlyn you cant Come close to use Q. Vs lux/seraph you also dont want to be close.
