Guys with traction control, not many of you know how it works. Stop backing off the throttle as soon as you stop, keep it down and give the system chance to recognise a spinning wheel and apply the brake to that wheel. Give it chance to work and you'll be surprised how good it is.

Yes spot on there this is what I’ve told the lads if it’s there first time out pally brake gently and will work keep the throttle going and it will work wonders..👍

Brilliant video guys, really enjoyed watching this one. The black D2 needed up blowing the front and rear diffs but we managed to get two in the morning from A&T Land Rover Services then cracked on with the day. Hopefully see you all again soon.

Slow and steady approach worked great but risk of getting pushed going fast is good but has its risks losing traction!!that was a long day on road 7am back home just after midnight!!

Another brilliant video, the more i watch the more i prefer the D1 300tdi they are so good 😅👍 Also proof you can make your off road vehicle to wide for some tracks 😅

Thankyou this one was a good video day started off pretty well and soon got pretty crazy!! The d1 was running super soft springs so was very flexy and really helped on that corner after squeezing between the two trees!! And also helped on the big river crossing!! Yeah the 300tdi’s can carry on chugging under deep water all day!! Was a good day and was good to watch all the guys do the river crossings was pretty deep!! That td5 disco sounded nice on full chat crossing the river??!!..🤘🤘

The first lane was great. bloody narrow and mega scratchy! I try to avoid those, I am a bit paint-precious. Dunlop hill is one of my favourites, but, yeah, its a bit hard on the drivelines that's for sure. Especially when the trucks have such massive wheels.

Defenders seemed very sure footed on the river crossing. This is the advantage of dodgy door seals: They don't float!

Haha too much power and loose traction on the river bed.. Slower and steady approach seemed to work better!!

The foot to the floor technique is more entertaing! It looked touch and go for some there. I'm guessing the current was too strong to walk the river. Could have been an interesting recovery. This stuff is high adventure!
