When I was a little boy my dad always told me Ipswich was a club to follow because of the football they played. Ive done so since then, without being a supporter of the club. I am sure he's smiling in heaven right now. They've played some brilliant football tjus season and the promotion is well deserved.

Congratulations Ipswich. I remember when you were last in Division One/Premier league. I'm a Wednesday fan, so we've all got something to celebrate today, for different reasons obviously. Always enjoyed away games at Portman Road. Top quality fans and people. I hope we're playing each other again in 2 seasons, and not because Ipswich have been relegated.

@@adamg8814 yep. That would take me on a trip down memory lane. Remembering legends like the moustachioed John Wark and the amazing dribbling skills of Paul Mariner, who a was joy to watch on the ball. And a brilliant achievement from you lot. 2 massive back to back promotions. As a Wednesday fan, I take absolutely, not one iota, even a smidgen of joy out of Leeds Utd. bottling it🤪😉🤪😉..... Again, to gift you promotion if you just carried on playing how you have been. Well deserved. And there are rumours of a consortium coming in to buy out Chansiri. I hope they don't (yet), and that Chansiri takes a back seat and lets Danny Röhl carry on with his job. He's been amazing for such a young manager in his first position. And I'm sure that will attract some outstanding young players to the club. That's twice now in under 12 months that we've broken records. The play off 2nd leg against Peterborough last season, and the biggest comeback to avoid relegation this season. So if any potential signing asks "why should I sign for Wednesday", all he'd have to do is put the video up of those 2 moments and especially the fans. And reply with "can you think of a better reason, and wouldn't you want to become a legend here, by achieving great things moving forward, or go to a club with half the fans, less cameraderie and be forgotten as soon as you leave?".

Rumours are that a consortium are in negotiations to buy out Chansiri. As much as I think Chansiri isn't always for MY club, consortiums from America etc. don't understand what football means to the rest of the world. Birmingham City have found this out the hard way. Consortiums are only about image and profit. Massive mistake making Rooney their manager for "the image". Meanwhile, we've gone for a relatively unknown manager who's done the impossible over the last 5 months to keep us up..... Daaaannnny, Dannnnnny Ruuuueelll. (Daddy Cool song). I'm just hoping Chansiri doesn't let him go. I think he genuinely has connected with the fans and would love to stay. I'm hoping he doesn't get poached, because he's gained lots of attention from other clubs, after his attempts to keep Wednesday up, by playing attractive football too.

Thanks for a great vlog! I was at PR for Norwich when had similar coach welcome, so knew what was coming but you got fantastic footage of it and really captured the buzz beautifully. Great to get a view from away end and hat tip to Huddersfield fans too. Leeds are falling apart sung in harmony with Town fans was class. 🤣Can't believe we're finally back in Prem. I was a Wembley for last time in 2000 and feels a lifetime ago. Proofs dreams can come true! #COYB 🚜💙

Aaah so glad you was there. I did think during the game I wish you was here. I think you have always known how much it has meant to us all since Barnsley away last season. You saw the raw emotion that night of what it meant. And it’s just carried on and on. So glad for all the younger fans who stayed with it during bleak times and delivered a crazy pre match experience. All the best and keep up the great work. So glad Sheffield Wednesday and Plymouth stayed up.

Congrats to Ipswich. It's hard enough to get promoted,but to be promoted 2 years in a row is quite a feat. I follow Sunderland and Plymouth Argyle and both just barely hung on at years end. Again,congrats Ipswich and good luck in the Prem.

Thanks for being there on one of Towns greatest acheivments, at the age of 87 I have enjoyed much of the ups and downs at Portman Rd. The one thing that the club have acheived which has brought success is the "Manager", way back in the early days it was Scott Duncan, then Alf Ramsey next Bobby Robson and now, a young man who has the nack and knowhow to get the best out of his team.

Lucky enough to see the Ipswich Town legends of my era when I started going to matches. Mick Mills, John Wark, Paul Mariner to name just a few. And Bobby Robson managing. Hard to stomach what both teams had become a couple of seasons ago. Now we're both hopefully taking giant leaps forward (🦉🦉💙💙🦉🦉)

I have never really been into football, enjoyed playing it when I was younger but never supported teams. I then watched Welcome to Wrexham and was hooked. I live in Ipswich and started researching them and realized they are in the same sort of story in the last couple of years, promotion then promotion again. well done Ipswich!!!!! I might even go to a game or 2 next season if I can get ticket :) Great video mate, really captured the atmosphere! I wish I could get in with you as I'm from Nottinghamshire and a ipswich fan me car keeps letting me down and miles from a train station 🤣no it's great you love ipswich 's journey. We've had Years of crap and to do this so quickly compared to what we where all thinking maybe midtable championship perhaps denting top2 occasionally ,to do back to back after 4 years of mostly depressing football foul atmosphere is INCREDIBLE. Lets enjoy the summer and well done Wednesday for getting safety hope you push on and get back to the Premier league because it's your turn to get back there after being out for a long time. All the best next season let's hope we give a good account of our selves in the Premier league next season can't believe I'm saying it 😂❤
