Sorry, but Kyle is fakin it. He's only filming his performance, but what you hear is Tommy Lee's original drumtrack. You can check it at 1 minute to 1 minute 3 seconds, where Kyle is playing only the snare, but you hear an extra metallic sound added to the snare. That's the original Drumtrack by Tommy Lee. Kyle is not hitting anything to create that sound. Check it out.

Yes,..he was one of only a very few that ever stood out for me and got my attention in spite of my obsession with the guitar playing of every song. Tommy Lee is above the average pro drummer.
