I lost my dad on the 9th of June this year and every evening I would I facetime him these videos are seriously helping me get through each evening love your videos and recognise a couple of places you visit I live in kent thanks for videos mate I love them.

Dude I’m sorry to hear that I found my poor old man passed away 5 years ago, my life’s never been the same not a day goes by that I don’t think of my best mate and hero. Try to keep your chin up you’re dads proud of you. ✌️

@@joski9030 Its a horrible feeling he was only 54 and was unexpected me and my uncle found him at home approximately 24 hours after he passed away so he didn't look very nice, had to do funeral arrangements etc on my own as 1 of my brothers died in a car crash new years day 2016 and my other brother commit suicide in December 2016 been a long battle but will get there, I have to to keep there legacy going. Sorry for your loss mate its a cruel world.

@@KentSurvival That petite swine was going to meet its fate anyway, so I think its fabulous that in a way, it achieves fame, post- mortem if you will. All the fans seem very pleased, and there are many more views to come still. People just don't know about this episode yet. Building structures is riveting, but you need a just havin' a good ole time visit too. Also, I didn't see a single commenter that was a vegan, so, fairing pretty well without controversy. Cheers from beautiful Colorado!

I was working at a banquet for a medieval society at a university in Scotland where they had a catering company do two mead glazed hogs on spittle. There was so much food they insisted that the staff should all get food too!! It was absolutely amazing!! The best I've ever had!!

Yep, its always educational to show people what their food looked like before the cellophane wrapped it. It might just remind them to respect the source and not waste the meat! Great Video!!!!!

@@johnthompson9032 There's a big difference between the theoretical "bacon comes from pig" and actually seeing the pig born, raising the pig, feeding the pig, butchering the pig and eating the pig. My neighbour's garbage can got knocked over one day and while I was cleaning it up I found a family pack of two kilos of hamburger tossed out unopened. As the child of a cattle ranching family I was horrified at the disrespect. You kill someone for food you better eat them!

I could spend a lifetime in that woods if I had a cook like Kent Survival. Another very relaxing time spent here - Do you ever go out in a boat,, sure would like the sights and sounds of rivers if you ever do get by the water. Your friend is a gentle nature spirit just like you. I truly believe places like this are a glimpse of heaven.

PETA, People Eating Tasty Animals, is a group of people who gather and produce recipes for meals just such as this. That sandwich looked wonderful. Here in Texas, we might slap some great BBQ sauce on that. Thanks for sharing. Texas

Dappled sunlight glinting on a woodland stream: what HAPPY memories this video brings back! I imagine you went back for the ax you had leaning against a tree as you hiked out! In the end, even the piglet looked pleased to be turning 'golden brown and delicious' over the fire.

Great video! Really impressed with the cooking of the pig and how that bread turned out! .. if you do this again you could always set up another couple of tripods to move the pig straight over to cool down away from the fire 🙏

Hi Andy,watched your video cooking the pork in the Dutch oven from Canvas tent shop,so I purchased 1 ,OMG what a tool,absolutely brilliant and so cheap,,a pal of mines got a petromax,and the finish isn’t as good as mine,,and so cheap,,I got the bag,pot lifter,£38 delivered,, direct from the canvas tent shop,,,nice one Andy,,oh and his petromax is just under half the size and double the money!!!,,great video mate👌👌👌👌

Oh to have had your videos years ago This particular video reflects my own camping experience. Never with a pig though nor with you're expertise. Rabbit, squirrel, section of deer. Ex military so I still enjoy the random MRE. But you, sir, elevate the experience to new heights. Well done.

I know! It's like people don't know what they're eating. THIS IS THE REALITY. In fact the kindest, most respectful reality of the meat we eat. Supermarkets make people disconnected in their silly little plastic display packaging. They should teach kids how to find and process food in schools. They'll need THAT education one day soon.

@@craigbrowne8563 nope. We survived on mostly meat and fatty diet for almost all our existence. When you look at populations who eat high levels of fatty meat cancer is almost non existent (such as inuit tribes for example. Cancers have increased as we eat more processed foods, high amounts of carbs and seed oils. You'll also reduce your likelihood of insulin resistance, high levels of which actually have been proven to be cancer risks.
