Wildcat Auto Wrecking (WildcatMopars.com) is well known in the Pacific Northwest as the only wrecking yard locally that caters specifically to Mopar enthusiasts. Nestled away on the forested backroads of Sandy, Oregon, Wildcat Auto Wrecking is truly a paradise for Mopar parts and project lovers. I already was heading down to Oregon for a private tour of The Brothers Collection in Salem, so I thought the best idea would be to take off a day early and detour out towards Mt. Hood and visit Wildcat Auto Wrecking.
Lucky for me I already have a contact who works there to give me a guided tour. Her name is Vanessa DeMello (@fivepointparts / @vanessawildcat) and she was an awesome host. Although Vanessa's time at Wildcat is winding down (she's starting her own Mopar parts business called Five Point Parts), she still enthusiastically took time out of her busy day to give me the grand tour and answer any questions that I had.
Wildcat Auto Wrecking is an amazing place to go if you are a Mopar enthusiast. They have everything from pre-60's thru early-80's Mopars cars, truck, and vans. If you're looking for a hard to find part that isn't currently being remanufactured, chances are you just might find it there. I had an amazing time, and I can't wait to go back. Enjoy! NO MOPAR LEFT BEHIND!
