Hershey Park has just announced Wildcat's Revenge! The new for 2023 RMC Hybrid conversion of the first ever GCI coaster. Let's talk about it and what it means for the future of this fantastic park!

Great video. This looks like it’s going to be a fantastic coaster. Without expanding the layout into the parking lot or something we were never going to see 200 ft. Hersheypark is great at working with their land restraints, so I’m not surprised.

The name Wildcat is historic in Hersheypark. The Wild Cat was the first rollercoaster in the park in 1923. Wildcat was named in homage to that coaster so I’m not surprised they kept the name. Can’t wait to ride this at my home park

Wildcats revenge is such a horrible name, but the coaster looks incredible!

@@alecvip7562 I don’t think the name matters to the gp or enthusiasts from other parks all that much. For hardcore Hersheypark nerds (guilty) I think it’s a fitting name.

What happened to the original Wildcat ?

@@ArrowThrills Hersheypark didn’t actually own it. PTC owned it and leased the land from HP. Lease was up in 1945 and HP decided to replace it in a different part of the park with Comet. The Wild Cat was originally on the plot that currently has part of Storm Runner and Trailblazer

For those curious, there's a full picture of the entire layout on RCDB from Hershey's website. Looks like the layout will be: Long Tick track into 180 degree turn.. into chain lift truss. 82 degee drop into the Underflip Camelback small airtime hill into cutback-like turnaround? zero g stall another cutback (?) a very weird ... almost block zone-like segment, but without brakes? I've never seen something quite like it. Zero g roll Another cutback Zero g roll #2 Small airtime hill Final airtime pop into the breakrun Please fill in anything I have missing or wrong. Still trying to get a full understanding

Haha KD is my go to park and always scream “not the bunny hills *gurgle*nooo” when we hit that section on twisted timbers.

That’s why I think TT is the most overrated RMC, also because it lacks any positives. Those bunny hills are also meh for some younger enthusiasts like me. This and Arieforce one seem very different to that which is amazing.

I’m gonna guess this underflip is basically a 3/4 turn upward death roll . I think they’re running out of fresh new elements to come up with .

I'd argue that this gives Hershey the best coaster lineup out there... Wildcat's Revenge, Skyrush, Candymonium (one of the best B&M Hypers), Great Bear (one of the best Inverts), Storm Runner (only Xcelerator model still running), Lightning Racers (one of the better GCI's, in my opinion), Fahrenheit... And that's just the top 7... I honestly can't think of another park other than maybe Cedar Point that will rival the lineup...

@@KICoasterGuy It's my home park, so that might be a little biased, but I've been to all of the "top-tier" parks everyone talks about and I think while some parks (Kings Dominion, Cedar Point) might have a better top 2, others might have a better top 3 (Maybe Carowinds and Kings Island), I think Hershey might have the best/deepest lineup before you hit what I call the "meh"-tier
