The other day James had a question from a viewer who asked if the lioness would mate with the male to keep him away from her cubs and he said, no that wouldn't benefit her or make sense for her to do that. Many guides have said they would mate to lure them away from the cubs to save them.

I like James but agree about assumptions. And uses the word tit way too muchh. I turn off volume with him and just watch.

@@laura6695 that's very true. They do do that. To distract the male. Or even heard of cases where a lioness will mate to make him think her cubs are his. Hmm.. he's stating some things as too factual, in my opinion. Like as in my comment here, a guide told Steve he saw teets and Steve trusted this guide, and then was pretty certain he seen them himself. But other guides will say it like that, "i can't say with 100% certainty, but i feel like i may have seen teets". You know what i mean? And then he said he didn't see any dens or cubs, or lioness tracks at Chelas den, and made a little snarky remark, i would have to go find it to quote him, i guess it's a bit hard to explain unless you know the moment I'm referring to. But it frustrated me for sure.

@@avisstephaney7881 i do like James too. But i feel like he almost owes Steve an apology. For shutting down so quickly what Steve was reporting, as a guide, to us. Just to come back live and act as if he's taking credit for making the news to us for the first time. The words he used and the way he said it was really insulting to other guides intelligence. Like i said, I've observed him kind of doing this same thing before, this time I chimed in. 🥰🥰

People assume it's cheap to do these drives, keep vehicles running, pay for petrol, pay 70 plus employees, etc. They have been giving this content for free on several platforms since they began and it wasn't until recent years that they have asked for help. Technical problems the majority of time is not the fault of Wildearth.
